I read this last night but I barely had energy to reply then!

When you tweeted you are lost, we were all actually and genuinely worried! I was flooded with messages asking about the street number and it took me good few minutes to figure out it was the 25th street. I could hardly figure out the signs right in front of me! Apologies for not being able to help in the best possible way. But all is well that ends well...I was told you made it! And I was all YAAYYY!!

Circuit, I'M EXTREMELY HAPPY you made it in time and had an amazingly memorable experience with Shabir! This is definitely changing the whole dynamics of being a Shabbo admirer for years, right? 😆

You calling me his biggest Pankha, Toni? I doubt it and all the more so since seeing those lambi lambi lines, faces lightened up to see Shabbo! His fan base of course is way larger than the IF junta we are here. Not everyone shouts out their love for him here na?😆

One thing I did while I watched Shabbo was also studying others' reactions. Had some interesting things to notice.

A very old couple came by and the lady was wondering who this guy is, where she has seen him, and the man was wondering why there is such a big line! I told them it's Shabbir and later said it was Abhi.. and the lady went "Oh him, he acts so well"! I was so proud of him at that moment. The lady decided against waiting in line to take a pic although she wanted to. She was too old to stand in the hot sun. I tried to ask an organizer if she could have a wildcard pass, but that dude did not listen to me.

There was another lady who was telling her teenager son about Shabbo's old soaps.

And then there was a guy who was trying to talk his wife and kids out of "wasting time" for Shabbo. But his wife did not give up.

Also, one more guy asked who this is, I explained it was Shabbir Ahluwalia, TV actor. And that guy was like such big line for a TV actor.. I said (taking out my sunglasses and giving him a bleh look) of course, he is THAT GOOD. Had my little moment defending Shabbo there too.😆

Nevertheless, not that I didn't know, but was happy to see the massive adoration Shabbir had from so many fan girls, women, men, old ladeis, kids etc. I WAS PROUD!

DON Bhai, we parked somewhere with a lot of difficulty and then we ended up on 38th street. I started walking down towards Madison Square garden but found some organizers (it was so hard to find them), who were totally useless. They sent me to a "TV Asia" float on 38th saying Zee booth is there only. None of them really had an idea of what was going on and where things were. There were no pamphlets that explained things either.

I finally decided to follow the parade route hoping I will find Zee somewhere! But you and Toni etc. posting Shabz was already there gave me so much hopes and enthusiasm for sure. So, no worries at all.

I am glad for you too that you saw him (for hours, YEY!!!). Yes, now, Shabz is not just an excellent actor/hot dude/cheerful guy.. but a human being I have a feel of! And a leather couch!😳

i was there for 6 hours only thing i saw was shabir n 15 min kanchi 😆 he hold my attention like Lion kings snake...look into my eye n get lost in it...🤣
it was a remarkable day us n in a way for him too..i dont know why but i felt he was more relax n enjoyed here then Canada..maybe bcz he landed on the same day or he is more familier with US ...

jo bhi for me u guys r the biggest phankhas off all ...if u to naive or too shy to take the title then ok i will take it 😉😆
