The soap makers are afraid to show an atheist and promote that concept.
The soap makers are afraid to promote a heroine not caring about sindhoor and mangalsutra.

The soap makers are basically afraid to show anything that would go against the common trend. Of course they wanna make money out of the common trend, not some alternative thought.

I wish EK takes my in the Balaji story board bandwagon! I would someday love to weave a soap story with a completely different female protagonist - some one who has the shades of grey and is open minded - I would break all stereotypes in her chatacterization - I know for sure even she will be accepted. *wishful thinking* lol

EK is a businesswoman, Aafrah. She has found a product that sells and she has been repackaging it for ages now. May be you can come up with a new formula that's viable as well as not regressive. I bet it would be a lot more challenge to make it viable and entertaining too.

Hi aafrah, yes you can be an aetheist and still wish well for your wife 😊. Atheists can do a lot of good too!! I don't think Abhi is an aetheist. People do different things when they hit rock bottom😭 including Abhi. This scene works for me!!

Aafrah, Deepa Mehta might be a better choice 😃! EK caters to traditional viewers!!

His rationale is desperation.
Abhi knows Pragya does believe in God and stuff.
Also once you start to really love someone some things start changing a bit also. I did not see any disrespect towards atheists or something. Also his cry for help didn't have much to do with religion either or which believe he should have. At least this is how CV try to portray it within these type of scenarios.
