A year ago, Abhi was a rockstar. He sang songs for his fans of romantic love and related emotions. He had figured out that love sells, and he sold it. But he believed that the people who really believe in love are fools.
Fair enough. Abhi said so because he was yet to see love as love.
The only form of love he had seen in his life was that of blood relatives or childhood friendships.
The love he saw from the women in his life was business exchange. He knew the women who claimed to love him cared for his money, status and fame or had some motive. He never was able to really feel love as it is claimed.
Then came Pragya, a woman he was supposed to hate. While he did his best to hate her for certain assumed reasons, she gave him nothing but love back. It started with baby steps and then grew into fondness, attachment, commitment and eventually a bond that had him ready to give his life for her.
The thing was Abhi was a loving and giving soul to begin with. But he still had refused to believe in it. Someone really needed to hold a mirror to him to make him find that love inside himself, appreciate it and believe in it. And Pragya did that for him.
And now after almost a year, we have rockstar Abhi declaring- publicly, unapologetically, unabashedly that he is in love, that he ships love and he doesn't mind getting destroyed in love if that's what it takes to love. It doesn't matter to him that his life is at complications, it doesn't matter to him that he may not attain his lover, but he is happy in love and he is proud of it.
And there you go, Abhi has finally submitted to love!
