A one shot on the current track - hope you like it đ
It's been a week since Dadi sent Abhi out of his house.He has been staying in his flat ever since..
Pragya,who desperately wants to go stay with him,isn't able to ,cos Abhi wants her to take care of his Dadi ..so they keep in touch through phone calls and texts,with Pragya assuring him that things will get back to normal soon and Abhi getting the same 'I am lucky to have you in my life Fuggy' feeling,every time he hangs up..
Tanu has been chucked out of the house by Dadi and Daasi and she stays with her parents for a while..
One day,a very 'lost in thoughts' Pragya is walking to the nearby park..The honk of a car brings her out of her thoughts and she sees a familiar figure on the opposite side of the road..On keen observation she realises that it's Tanu and a guy with her,Nikhil?
That's when her suspicion that something is going on between these two,increases..She recollects all the instances in the past ,when she has found them whispering or just standing together and the change in their expressions when they see her..She decides to follow them and get to know for herself..
Pragya crosses the road and hides behind a tree,and listens to a conversation that she least expected to hear..
"Listen Nikhil..things are already in a bad state now..neither Abhi nor I am in his place and Dadi is very angry with the whole situation. Dont you dare mess it up further for me! How many times do I have to tell you to stop meeting me?"
"Tanu.. listen to what I am about to say..it's not about us or our bacha "
And the words 'Us or our Bacha' made Pragya stand there,rooted to the spot..'What's Nikhil saying? Tanu and Nikhil?? What is going on!!'..and she has the presence of mind to take a video of the remaining conversation..though she knew it was not right to eavesdrop she just couldn't help it , as her Abhi was involved!...something is not right here..
"Shhh.Shut up Nikhil! How many times do I have to tell you? This bacha might be yours but it will still get Abhi's name..it will be good for you if you just leave on your own"
"I really don't get how you still think Abhi is going to come back to get you,when he himself has been sent out of his house..He doesn't love you Tanu! The baby is mine..you are mine..there is no changing that fact..I am going to go talk to your parents right away..but before that,Aliyah came to meet me today"
"Aliyah?? Why did she want to meet you?!!"
"To ruin Abhi's career. She apparently wants to see him all destroyed and I can help her in this she feels "
"What?! Ruin Abhi's career!! She is mad! I have to talk to her right now! She doesn't realise how that will affect me..Does she know about you and me?"
"I haven't told anyone yet Tanu but it is not going to remain that way any longer.."
"Nikhil please don't do this..If you really love me you will want my happiness..My happiness lies with Abhi.."
"Do you even hear what you are saying ? Do you realise what the society will say when they get to know about how an unmarried girl is pregnant with someone's child but wants to marry another married man? It doesn't make sense even in my head Tanu!"
And this was it for Pragya! To hell with her sacrifice mode. She had to fight for Abhi's sake ! His own sister wants to destroy his career and the so called girlfriend , because of whom he is going through so much guilt and pain ,bears someone else's child! Tanu has been acting all these days and neither Abhi nor Pragya realised it! She sacrificed her love for Abhi due to this Tanu,thinking he will be happy with her ,but not anymore..not when she knows how Tanu has played with his life! She will win her Abhi back..
Pragya knocks on Abhi's apartment..Abhi opens it and is surprised to see her there..
"Fuggy? Tum yahan? All fine na..Dadi?"
"All are fine Abhi..I have a very important thing to discuss.."
"What's wrong Fuggy? Come on in"
After hesitating for a while,cos she is not sure how Abhi was going to react to it,Pragya shows him the video of Tanu and Nikhil..
His face changes from Surprise,to see them talking..to shock when he realises what they are talking..He isn't able to believe what's going on..
"Fuggy!What the hell does this mean? "..he asks with tears in his eyes..
"It means she has been lying to us all this while Abhi",Pragya says,with tears too,as she knows the pain Abhi must be going through..
"Damn it Fuggy! She has been manipulating us all this while and you even nearly sacrificed your right for her sake! What does she think of herself! Because of her drama now my Dadi doesn't want to look at my face! Oh my god I can't believe someone can stoop so low..I agree I was in love with her but now I only want to get as far away from her and all this! And Aliyah? She wants to see me ruined..I have been stopping her attempts every time only for her own good..Why doesn't she ever realise it? Why is my life so messed up Fuggy? First Aliyah..then Dadi..and now this Tanu has been making us a fool all this while!", he says and breaks down..
Pragya isn't able to bear to see Abhi so vulnerable and she sits beside him and keeps a hand on his shoulder,crying herself..
Abhi looks up and pulls her into a hug and cries his heart out..
Pragya consoles him and talks after a while.."Abhi..it's all going to be fine..we even have evidence now..we just have to show it to Dadi and others and everything will be fine..lets go na"
"You are right Fuggy! I can't believe I have been betrayed so badly by the people I trusted the most ,not long ago..Thankyou for doing this Fuggy..you have no idea what importance you hold in my life.."
"Do not thank! You think I can be normal when I know what state you are in here? The only thing I have been thinking about is how to bring you back home and now the whole situation is different and in our favour! You are not at fault at all!! Imagine how relieved Dadi will be when she knows that her favourite grandson can never be wrong and he will always follow the values she taught him? God always shows us a way out of problems ", she says with a smile and wipes his tears..
Abhi smiles back and looks at her..both of them then realise what this could mean ..they will prove Tanu wrong and confess their love for each other..and Dadi will have her grandchild through her favourite Abhi and Pragya !Pragya slightly blushes at that thought and what a different turn her life had taken in a few hours..but they still had a lot of talking to do to the family members and Taliya/Nikhil of course so they had to leave ..
Abhi calls Tanu and her parents and asks them to come to Mehra mansion..he then calls Nikhil there ,in the pretext of discussing his next project cos technically Nikhil hasn't spoken to Abhi in a week and he has no idea about Abhi not being in his mansion ..
Abhi and Pragya reach home and Abhi hesitates to step inside..Pragya gives him a warm'everything is going to be fine' smile and they go in..
Dadi is first happy to see her Abhi and for a moment forgets about the argument but then recollects it and says "Abhi stop right there ..what do you think you are doing here ? "
Just then Tanu and her parents join them..Dadi is surprised to find them back..
"Dadi..I have some explaining to do..can you please ask everyone from the family to come here please?"
"I don't want to hear anything more from you.."
"Please Dadi..this is going to change everything",Pragya pleads and eventually Dadi gives in and calls every one,including Aliyah..
Nikhil enters and is surprised to see all gathered in the hall..
Tanu is nervous as to what new drama was going to start..
When Abhi is sure that everyone is present,he asks robin for the projector and plays the video on it..
To say that everyone present in the hall was shocked,was to say the least..
Tanu had her mouth wide open , her parents were extremely angry and so were the others..her mother slapped her right across the face and Nikhil had a smirk on his face ,happy that things were working in his favour..
Dadi slaps her too,for lying to everyone and making her send her Abhi out of the house..Abhi,Pragya and the others take their turns to scream at Tanu and she runs out of the place, not able to take any more insult..Abhi gives a disgusted look at Nikhil and he leaves too..
Everyone turns to Aliyah .. The little girl of the house was teaming up with someone to destroy her own brother? Unbelievable..Dadi slaps her too and Abhi has no words to say ad gives her a hurt 'why did you do this ' look..Aliyah being Aliyah,starts her usual ' He took my Purab away from me..he deserves it" speech
Dadi couldn't take it any longer and asks her to leave her house.."enough Aliyah! I didn't want to send you out earlier thinking you were a girl but now I can't stand this stupid behaviour any longer..go to Australia or anywhere and stay there for a while ..come back when you can think straight ..I don't want to see your face till then"
Aliyah is shocked with her decision and gives Abhi a "you will pay for this " look and leaves..Abhi knew deep down that Aliyah will not be at peace until she brings him down as now the only thing she has for him is hatred.. He decides to deal with that later..he has to talk to Dadi
Dadi is filled with guilt for having doubted Abhi but Abhi himself seemed to believe that he the was the father of the child..
"Abhi,mera bacha..please forgive me..I know you will never do anything like that and thats why I was shocked..I hurt you a lot and sent you out of your own house.. Forgive me if possible bacha"
"Dadi!what are you talking? I already told you and I am repeating it now.. You have all the right in the world to scold me,hit me or do what you want..you made this a home for us, I only just bought the place..it is your house Dadi and please stop asking for forgiveness..I know how much I hurt you and only if you were extremely hurt would you have taken the step of sending me out..forgive me Dadi..I did love Tanu in the past but not anymore..not after she betrayed not just me,but even Fuggy..Fuggy was ready to sacrifice her right for Tanu.." He then turns to Pragya and says "I am sorry Fuggy..for everything..Thankyou for always staying by my side"
Pragya just gives him a broad teary smile and a "you don't have to thank me" look..Everything was okay now..Abhi is hers ..she doesn't have to and will not leave his side ever đ
Dadi hugs her Abhi and Pragya and blesses them with all her heart..
Daasi teases them with a "so Didi will get her grandchild from both of you now , won't she ?"đ
Pragya blushes ,Abhi grins and all others smile,happy that Abhi is back home!
