Part 18- It's not a big deal
The rules of friendship -
1.no sorry and no thank you
2.trust your friend and your friendship
3. Don't hide anything from your friend.
The trio were fuming because the rest had broken the rule of friendship. All this while, almost a year done and they had no clue whatsoever about the core of CF. They were about to move out of the cultural room when purab stood in front of them with a devilish smirk. Tanu who was ahead of the trio gave it back to purab and said-
Don't you mess with us Mr. Purab khaana or shall I say the head of marketing.
Purab smiled at her taunt and next moment gave her a hug. Tanu was irritated by his gesture and pushed him away.
Come on guys, there is nothing to be upset about- spoke sid.
Pragya turned to look at her brother standing casually, she went towards him and hit him hard on his stomach and asked-
I hope it's nothing to be upset about.
Abhi was about to speak but pragya's - I will kill you glare stopped him.
Alia decided to calm things down- she asked the three girls to take seats in the front and explained -
Pragya, tanu, bulbul, we are all really sorry we didn't tell you anything about CF. Myself and neil have been a part of it from last year while purab,sid,bhai and anjali from last two years. Since we are good at our work, our seniors decided that we six are good enough to lead the team this year. That's all.
The trio looked at each other then at the rest of the gang. They were happy with the explanation given by alia so they decided to end the cold war. The trio smiled and the gang followed. Pragya gave her bhai a hug and apologized for the punch and tanu asked apology to purab. The gang moved to canteen for some brunch.
Sid and Neil explained to the new CF members about its working and how all will be done in a span for just 45 days. Tanu and bulbul discussed with alia about the dance performances.
We will have auditions, if you are good you will be selected to perform on the main event- said alia with a smile.
Tanu and bulbul were quite sure of making it. Pragya raised a query- what's the theme for the year?
We will know about it soon- replied purab.
Soon? Why not now? Asked a confused bulbul
Because, the theme is usually choose by the creativity head and he is out of town- answered abhi stating the fact.
And who is the creativity head? Asked pragya curiously.
It's Aman- said anjali with a big wide smile.
Anjali, why are you so excited? You are supposed to handle finance right? -Said bulbul in a teasing tone.
Anjali sighed and said- yeah!
The gang smiled and laughed, teasing, high-five went on and left after a while.
Arora House
Sid was working on his marketing strategy for the fest when pragya knocked on the door. Sid looked up and nodded at pragya as a yes to come in.
Choti, why do you knock always before coming in? You know you don't have to do that- said sid his eyes glued to his laptop.
Who knows bhai, you might be with someone, some day doing something -replied pragya with a chuckle.
Sid closed his laptop and looked at his sister - Choti...
What? I was just saying it's not a big deal right? -Said pragya
So, you are here to irritate me? -Asked sid
Any doubt? Replied pragya with a devilish smile.
The two ran in the house, had the sibling fight for sometime and later proceeded to their respective rooms.
Pragya entered the room full of smiles and her smile widened when she found her love waiting for her standing by the window. She closed the door behind her and ran to give abhi a tight hug.
The two stood like that for a while and later settled on pragya's bed.
Congratulations abhishek- wished pragya.
Abhi looked at pragya's hand waiting to wish him, he moved his head sideways and took her in a embrace.
Thank you chashmish.
Abhi broke the hug, looked at her intently and placed a kiss on her forehead.
Abhi was playing with her hair, moving his fingers around her earlobe, as the two rested back on her bed. Pragya hit him every now and then when he tried to kiss her saying she was not in the mood to kiss him while her answers actually killed his romantic mood.
Pragya was looking at their intertwined fingers when abhi asked-
Which department did you choose to be a part of?
Pragya didn't want to answer that question because she very well knew who Aman was and that abhi would burst out after knowing that she was in creativity. She was in her thought when abhi asked again-
Chashmish, you didn't answer me...which department?
Pragya looked at abhi, sighed and said in a low voice - creativity.
What???? - asked abhi and got up from the bed. He paced around the room, moved his hand over his gelled hair,looked at pragya and said-
Why creativity?
Pragya got up from her bed went towards abhi,held his hand and replied - because I like it. It's my piece of work. Abhi was not convinced of her being in aman's team as he didn't trust Aman at all especially after their first meeting.
Abhi sat on the bed,his head down. Pragya sighed at the sight in front of her, she didn't want this to happen. She sat beside him,rested her head on his shoulder, took his hand in hers and said-
I love you Abhishek Mera. I love you a lot. And I don't want you to be upset about anything. It has been such a nice day. My boyfriend is the GS of the college...wow!
Abhi looked at her and said-
I am sorry...I spoiled your mood as well. Its just that... Its a big deal you know...I love you a lot and you matter to me...I can't...
And before he could complete his sentence and share his thoughts about the discussion, pragya had placed her lips on his. And the next moment saw abhi holding on to her as if never to let her go and after a while when they parted, pragya said-
It's no big deal abhishek...is it?
Abhi wrapped his arms around her, smiled and replied -
Nah! It's not a big deal at all!!!
