Chapter Sixteen

The rice filled vessel is placed in front if her.

Dadi:Pragya genyly kick this vessel with your right leg and then place your leg in the arathi plate(filled with red colored liquid)and enter the house.

After completion of the ritual they introduce her to the rest of the family members, later his cousins take her to Abhi's room,makes her sit in the bed decorated bed.After sometimes Abhi comes to the room.

In her haste to get get down from the bed,she steps on her lehanga as a result was about to fall when Abhi catches her they where lost in each other eyes,they moves away from each other after few minutes.

Abhi:What is the need for you to where such a heavy lehanga and jewelry,you're not even able to walk properly because of that.

Pragya:My foot sliped that's all and anyways this jewelry was gifted to me by your dadi that's why I wore it today otherwise I don't wear such heavy necklace.

Abhi:So you're saying that my dadi's choice is not good.

Pragya:When did I say that,you're the one who commented about the necklace.

Abhi:If it is so heavy remove it.

Pragya:That's what I am going to do,will you please move Abhi.

Abhi:This much space is more enough for you to walk kitty.

Pragya:Abhi.

Abhi:Ok ok I will go.

He goes to change his clothes while she sits in the dressing table and start removing her jewlery.

Abhi:You have not yet removed your ornaments.

Pragya:I am not able to remove this necklace.

Abhi: Let me look, your hair is tangled in the necklace, wait a minute.

He comes back with a scissors.

Pragya: What are you doing, with the scissors?

Abhi:I will cut your hair then it will be easy for you to remove the necklace.

Pragya : Are you crazy, I won't allow you to cut my hair.

Abhi: It is only a little bit of hair, no one will know that you have cut your hair.

Pragya : No ways Abhi.

His hand brushes against the side of her neck while trying to remove the necklace, he moves away from there. Her heart rate quickened when his hand accidentally brushes against her neck. After changing she sleeps on the other side of bed.

Morning

Abhi joins the breakfast table along with the others.

Abhi : Good morning dadi.

Dadi : Good morning dear.

Abhi : Robin has cooked the food well today.

Dadi: Its Pragya who cooked the food today.

Abhi: I thought you only know how to eat food,Not bad Pragya you did cook well.

Pragya : I am not like you I do know household work.

Abhi: I too know how to cook.

Dadi:Don't belive him Pragya,he will burn the house down if you let him cook.

Abhi: Dadi,that is not fair you can't take her side.

Dadi:What to do,I got bored of supporting you all the time,so I am going to support my daughter now on(with a wide gin on her face)

Pragya laughs at him.

Abhi: Don't laugh I will take my revenge on you soon.

She laughs even more hearing his threat.

Dadi:Abhi you both are going to Pragya's house today afternoon for pag phere.

Abhi:Ok dadi.

Abhi's Room

Abhi: What are you doing with my wardrobe?

Pragya:I am trying to find a place to keep my dress.

Abhi: Keep your dress somewhere else but don't touch my wardrobe.

Pragya:This is also my room and I am going to keep my dress here only.

Abhi: No I won't let you.

Dadi:You both have started your fight again, now what is the matter?

Pragya: Dadi ,he is not letting me keep my dress in the wardrobe.

Dadi:Abhi remove your old dress and let Pragya keep her dress in the wardrobe.

Abhi: But.

Dadi: Do as I say Abhi.

After dadi leaves, Abhi removes few of his shirts and told Pragya to keep her things.

Pragya:I need more space, you have only removed few cloths.

Abhi:You only need that much space kitty.

Pragya: Fine I will remove the cloths myself.

Downstairs

Dadi: Sorry Shan, I forget to tell them that you are waiting for them.They are behaving like kids since morning. I will inform them now.

Shan: No dadi, I will meet them myself.

Dadi: Ok, the first room on the left, is their room.

Mean while upstairs a tug of war is going on between Pragya and Abhi as result they both falls on the bed with Pragya on top of Abhi. Just then Shan walks into the room.

Shan: Oops I didn't see anything (holds his hands in front of his eyes)

They quickly move away from each other.

Pragya: Bhai, you are here?

Shan: I came to take you both home, but looks like you are busy.

Their face turns red with embracement.

Pragya: Bhai it's nothing like that.

Shan: OK I will be waiting downstairs, come soon?

Pragya: Everything is because of you.

Abhi: Me, I didn't do anything. You are the one taking away my cloths without my permission.

Pragya: Talking with you is a waste of time, I am going.

Abhi: As if I am dying to talk to you.

Pragya's House

Sarla: You both came, I have been waiting for you. How are you?

Pragya:I am fine mom. How are you?

Sarla:I am fine, come I have prepared food for both of you.

Abhi: Not anymore Badi Ma, my stomach is full.

After lunch all of them where playing games while Prasanth goes to his room since he is tired, they were enjoying the rest of the day to full swing, as the rest of the siblings will be leaving tomorrow.

The days flew by fast with endless banter between the couples. They are going to rejoin their work tomorrow. After sending of Bulbul for her dance program, Pragya returns back to her house.

Abhi: Pragya, I am going to Yash's house. I think he has found out the person behind the attack.

Pragya: Inform me as soon as you know something, ok.

Abhi: Ok Pragya, bye.

Yash House

Yash: Abhi, we have captured the goon that attacked you, after interrogating them we found out that they were hired by a person called Siddarth Kapoor, he is the son of Kapoor fashion industries.

Abhi: I know him, I didn't like his behavior hence I refused to work with him, but I never thought he is such a bad person.

Yash: He is disgusting guy, but to arrest him I need a written complaint from you.

Abhi: Yash I want to speak with Pragya first before I make a complaint, if it is ok with you.

Yash: Off course Abhi.

Abhi: Bye Yash.

Abhi's House

Abhi: Pragya, the guy who hired the goons to attack us is Siddarth Kapoor. I know him, but I don't understand why he wanted to kill us? Do you know him?

Her mind went blank after hearing his name, all she could think was, no not again, this can't happen again. He turns to see a very pale Pragya standing there with a faraway look.

Abhi : Pragya what is the matter?

She runs away from there without answering his questions to their room.

Dadi: Abhi what happened why did Pragya? Why is she so tensed?

Abhi: Dadi nothing happened to Pragya, you just come with me. Bring her to the kitchen.

Dadi: Why did you bring me here?

Abhi: Can you make to cups of coffee for me and Pragya?

Dadi: Of course Abhi.

Abhi's Room

Carefully balancing the tray he opens the balcony door and saw Pragya sitting in the floor, with her knees huddled together and her head upon her knees. He sat near her and extended a coffee cup towards her, she slowly took it from him without saying anything.

Abhi: I don't know what the reason for the enmity between you and Siddrath. But whatever it is you can tell me, I will definitely find a solution to problem Pragya, I am your friend Pragya you can share your problems with me if you want and I won't disclose your secrets to anyone. You can trust me Pragya.

Pragya: I do trust you Abhi.

Abhi : Then tell me what is the matter, do you know him?

Pragya: Yes I know him very well, he is my ex fiance (with a bitter smile on her face)

Abhi looked at her shocked.
