There was a industry strike like this in 2008, where the writers had gone on strike, that resulted in no episodes being aired for three weeks. I know this because I was watching MJHT during that time. Does anyone else remember that time ?

Yeah. We had one here, too, though I don't know when exactly it was in India! It was a nightmare since US shows follow a much tighter schedule than that of Indian shows.

Yep I know about the strike in US too, because am an American TV shows addict, so I know how tough that was, and in India the last strike was in November 2008, so no tv shows were aired from 7th - 30th November.
