thank you baachu for taking away my hasty first reaction.

yes when i first read your thought i reacted badly...but stepping back, i can really see how you would get this idea. abhi has fulfilled that kind of protective role in her life - many have pointed out time and again that pragya has never had a brother to stand up for her, and that maybe why she overestimated the meaning of abhi's interventions on her family's behalf.

and my view is that abhi has been going out of his way not to see pragya in a romantic light...he's never wanted to give that name to their relationship. so his behaviour certainly invites us to apply other possibilities too.

so in conclusion baachu...the idea is not a fun one for the AT, but you're not crazy for thinking about it.

Arre. I don't see it, but you could make your idea work, but with a twist! If they grew-up sibling-like, but realized their feelings later, then it'll work, na? Like Pragya could be an orphan, but Daadi adopts her or something along those lines...
