That is because Abhi is no type of a protganost. They are trying to shoe-horn a villain as a protagonist.

I would say Suresh was more morally correct than Abhi. Both liked a different girl before Pragya's marriage proposal, but I am sure Suresh would not so blatantly cheat/flirt after his marriage. Tbh, Abhi's one-liners are not as funny as he thinks they are. I think if he was a better human being, maybe it may have been more more funny for me.

And before anyone says that Tanu is the villain in this show, Abhi is a villain 100 times more than Tanu. Tanu is not cheating Pragya; Tanu has no obligation to be faithful/honest to Pragya. Abhi is breaking all his wows, and is such an idiot that he can't make up his mind if he loves Tanu. It's not rocket science.
