THE MARRIAGE...
We have an idea of love marriage and arranged marriage but our abhisheik mehra and pragya arora had a planned marriage out of hatred and compromise.
Planned marriage? ARE you people wondering what is that ?
ABHI,the rockstar for his sisters sake, to get her the love of her life married his sisters boyfriends so called girl friend ..
Confused ? let me clear it.
Abhi,the rockstar worked hard to reach what he is now in life.he loves his dadi (grandmother),aaliya(sister),purab(friend) unconditionally and will do naything for them.he wanted his sister and best friend to get married and they accepted,but destiny has other things in store.
Purab fell in love with his employee bulbul and alliya couldn't bear the rejection and she wanted her brother to help her in getting her purab back by him marrying pragya..
So what role pragya has in this mess ?
Pragya ,bulbul elder sister comes to meet her sister's love and that's when aaliya see her talking to purab about love and marriage and concludes she is the one who purab loves.
On the other hand dadi meets pragya who helps her in crossing road. she is impressed in the first meet itself.when she comes to know through a match maker that pragya is getting married soon.she is disappointed.but just like the previous marriages this marriage of her was also called off by the same reason the groom preferred/loved her sister bulbul.
Dadi on knowing her marriage is cancelled wanted her as her bahu. The horoscope matched perfectly and she spoke to the aroras regarding the marriage.
They accepted thinking him as abhisheik a singer not knowing he is a rock star.
When all this was happening on one side. The other side abhi and pragya met frequently and had some verbal fight. They didn't like each other and they always wanted to stay far from each other. Little did they know they will one day become a man and wife...
Finally he accepted for marrying the girl for his sister ,convinced by his so called girlfriend who wanted time for her modelling carrer but pragya did not want to get married to him because they were different and cannot live together.
Pragya goes and inform abhi the same. Abhi is shocked and thinks may be she really loves purab. He goes to her home to find out the truth but instead see her wearing the 1 crore necklace gifted by his dadi and comes to know she has accepted for the marriage. Confirming himself she is a gold-digger abhi leaves .
The reality is pragya mother was shocked and she collapsed after knowing pragya rejected abhi so pragya accepted to marry for the sake of her mother..
Thus started the journey of abhi and pragya with hatred, compromise, planning.
A simple engagement ceremony was conducted and when pragya was insulted by abhi friends that she is normal and cannot match abhi standards. Abhi supports her telling she is good at heart and he prefers that. Pragya is happy listening to that .poor girl, didn't know then it was all fake drama.
Finally the weeding day arrived and the kumkum bhagya hall was decorated for the wedding.
Just when they were going to exchange the garlands, the lights got off may be symbolically referring the darkness that is going to enter her life. But the lights get fixed and they exchange garlands.
The pheras are taken and he filled her mang with the kumkum.
The guest blessed them. Pragya had an emotional bidai and entered the mehra mansion. She was waiting for her husband in his room decorated for the night but he didn't turn up.
Finding where he is pragya goes to an apartment where she finds her husband with his girl friend. She hears him talking about how much he hates and how this marriage is all a drama..
Shattered, heartbroken she returns to his house crying and dozes off.
Thus started a new beginning of abhi and pragya ..
