I don't think they needed Purvi much in the soap anyway, I mean they could have not shown her in the events and we wouldn't really have noticed.. Most of the stuff happens at Mehra house anyway and Purvi lives in some house near the Arora house.

I think Purvi will be used for "twist" later on during RaBul marriage.. she would either be anti-BB or anti-Aalu.
