Tannu was a willing partner in all those actions though. It was all still not against Tannu but against Pragya so it doesn't count as using her.
Using would have been if his intention was to ditch Tannu for Pragya.

What you see as his "inability to be rude," I see as deliberate self-serving silence. It would be to his own long-term benefit, to Tanu's benefit, to Pragya's benefit, to Daadi's benefit for Tanu to be gone from his life. But it doesn't suit his short term needs of keeping himself blind, of continuing to claim the rishta with Pragya is only natak, of lying to himself that he's not wronging Pragya because 'he's always been honest that this relationship has no future' - he keeps Tanu around because of all of this. He's told her she can leave, but he's never made her go, and while she's been around he's used her.

If we restrict "use" to only mean times when Abhi "used" Tanu and Tanu didn't benefit, then the bolded parts still hold. He might not have "used" her to annoy Pragya, because Tanu wants that too but using her to avoid his relationship with Pragya, that I think he has done because Tanu is not served by this.

I am only putting use in quotes because we can't seem to agree on a definition for it.
