Yes she did not want to marry him and but he was plain RUDE to her. And his words speak of resentment if not hate. Didn't she realize this marriage was gonna be NOT okay if that is how he is getting into it?

Pragya in her mind was ready to give a chance, but from whatever he talked to her it was clear that he was not at all happy.

In a way I like that at least Abhi did not sugar coat it ever for her.. so that she happily marries him.

Even when she apologizes to him in her house, he says what if I don't forgive you! (I really love this scene btw)..

She knew he was not willing to get into this marriage with his own will. But like you said, she always wanted to give this relationship a chance. She had a tiny belief that it might work.

Watch Epi 42, when the marriage proposal comes for Pragya, she very clearly says to herself that now her heart won't interfere in her decision making. Maybe, she won't be able to stay happy ever and she'll have to see a strangers face all her life but she'll do anything for her mothers happiness. She was kind of ready to accept whatever was coming her way. She had sort of made peace with the thought of marrying a complete stranger.

Even if she did get the message, she ignored it.

But there was so much "vibes" between AbhiGya though in that kumkum scene. That's why I love that scene.
