Three Shot: Paranoid. (Part2/Pg2)

Make a joke and I will sigh and you will laugh and I will cry,
Happiness I cannot feel and love to me is so unreal,
And so as you hear these words telling you now of my state,
I tell you to enjoy life I wish I could but it's too late.




"Tum tou apni wife ki tareefain kiyay ja rahay ho". Abhi wondered what he just blurted out. His heart told him that he wasn't wrong, he was just saying the truth. Pragya has been behaving like a perfect wife anyone would wish for. She has always been standing beside him unlike Tannu who has always put her profession before him.. It's okay she just being professional...I'm Abhi The Rockstaarrr... I also have a profession but I never ignored my loved ones for it. Abhi's thoughts were interrepted by Pragya's loud Namastay to the guests. Pragya greeted the guests and introduced herself with a bright smile "Namastay! Mai Pragya Mehra.. Apko Lohri ki dhair sari shubkavnaain" Tannu's parents glanced at each other and her mother spoke up"Tumhain bhi :) Tum tou bohat khoobsurat ho , fikar mat karo tumhare liye acha sa larka jald mil jaey ga" Abhi knew what was coming.. Pragya laughed and said "Array Aunty Ji... Aap shaid samjhi nahin.. Mai Pragya Mehra Yaani Abhishek ki patni hun" Abhi looked at Pragya's happy Face and realized that he was enjoying being called "Abhishek" with so much happiness... But why was she so proud of being his wife? Ofcourse, she should be proud for being Mrs.Rockstar. Forget about it Abhi, you need to change the topic. He was about to open his mouth when Tannu's Mom spoke up "Janti hun tum Mrs. Abhishek ho laiken apne kal k baray main socho..hum tou usi Kal k baray main tay karnay aey hain jab Abhi tum divorce day ga aur Tannu se shaadi karay ga... Abhi! Tumne isay bataya nahi k tum abhi isi waqt isay chornay k liye tayaar ho?" Pragya's heart stopped... She wasn't ready for this.. No she didn't knew this would happen so soon.. She was here to tell him how much she loved him.. She didn't expect the reciprocal of her feelings but she didn't expect this either. If he wanted her out of his life he should've told her... She would've gone away for his happiness... Oh what an idiot she is. Abhi was looking at Pragya from the moment he heard Tannu's mom speaking... He was watching her face getting yellow as if her soul was leaving the body. He didn't expect such a reaction from her... But why not? He knows that she has an innocent heart.. She loves and respects every relation she is tied into... He was getting worried now.. She wasn't moving.. He was about to get up and walken towards her when she snapped out of her thoughts and looked towards him. Her eyes... Abhi looked into her eyes and felt like he is being being stabbed in the heart. Pragya gave him a smile... Abhi was confused.. Why the hell is she smiling? She doesn't smile like this.. It isn't a smile, she is just pulling her lips into a curve.. She turned towards Tannu's parents "Mai sab kuch janti hun... Kisi ko bhi meri fikar karne ki zaroorat nahi.. Mai bus daikhnay ai thi k aap logo nay therk se Chai pee ya nahi.. Chalti hun.. (Looking towards Abhi) apki khushian apko mubarak hon.. Namastay!" And without wasting a minute she stormed out of the house leaving An intrigued Abhi behind.

Bulbul who has being excited for her Di to comeback finally spotted her. She ran towards her but the moment she turned Pragya Di towards her... Pragya fell on the ground with a thud. Everyone rushed towards her, tried to make her drink water but of no use. Pragya was rushed to hospital.

Tannu's parents were busy in examing Abhi's house. It seemed like their daughter was dating his house and not him. The moment Pragya left, Abhi has been unable to concentrate. He wad tired of listening to Taanu's parents who were talking anout his fame, property and Taanu's profession and seemed least interested in him. His phone rang, It was Purab; "Abhi kahan gaya hai tu, hospital pohunch Pragya Di ki halat kharab hai wo behosh ho gai hain".."Kyaa... Mai aata hun..bus aa raha hun"... Tannu wondered if it was Daadi and her tabiat again"Ye dadi ka drama kb khatam hoga" she mumbled. "Uncle.. Aunty muje jana hoga Pragya hospital main hai pata nahi kya hua" and with that he rushed out without giving anyone a chance to speak.

When Abhi reached hospital, he became even more worried after what he saw, everyone was crying and praying. Wait... Pragya just passed out because her diet is abnormal and it's just weakness. "Array ap log pareshaan kyun ho rahay hain... Ye fuggy theek se khana nahi khaati is liye behosh ho gae... Mai kehta bhi hun k khali mera dimagh khana se pait nahi bhar dakti laiken meri sunti he kab hai..." More than saying it to make them feel better, he was saying it because he was worried... He wanted to calm down his heart which has been beating abnormally from the moment Pragya smiled at him before rushing out of the house. Purab made Bulbul to sit down and cam towards Abhi "Di ko nervous breakdown hua hai"... Abhi couldn't move... Bulbul came forward "Jiju.. Di tou apke pass gae thi.. Wo tou keh rae thi apko apne dil ki baat batane ja rahi hai.. Wo wapis ai tou kuch nahi bola bus behosh ho gae.. Apki kya baat hui thi usay? Jiju batao na!" Bulbul was speaking and sobbing.. Purab held her and tried to calm her down.. It didn't want her to take out her anger on Abhi, she could blurt out things that would make the situation worse.

Meanwhile... Abhi couldn't figure out what was happening.. Pragya wanted to talk to me.. Talk about her feelings? She smiled at my decision of marrying Tannu and didn't even protest... And now she was in ICU... It seemed like his mind and heart had stopped working.. Everything can wait.. He just want to see Fuggy.. He wanted to see her face..

Wow! This was fab! Loved it!

Guys THANK YOUUU so much for appreciating my first ever piece of writing. I read the previous part after posting it and realized that there were so many mistakes. I hope this one would be better:)




And so as you hear these words telling you now of my state,

Everyone came out of the room after seeing Pragya. She wasn't conscious but the doctor had allowed them to see her. Dadi held his face in her hands and said "Tu fikar kyun karta hai.. Wo bilkul theek hai.. Ja usay aik nazar daikh lay". He couldn't move... He didn't have courage to face her.. He didn't want to look into those sad eyes... It would tear him apart. He started walking towards her room. There she was lying unconscious, it seemed like all the blood had drained out of her but still... She looked angelic..."pak pak nahi kar rahi shaid is liye itni achi lag rahi hai... " Abhi mumbled. He sat beside her and held her hand making round circles with his thumb. . Her other hand had a drip attached to it... That must be painful, Abhi thought. And then it struck him... Why was he concerned about a drip when he himself had tortured her so recklessly. Not only with his words but his actions too...Behaved like a monster... Why? There may be several reasons but none could justify his actions. He never had a right to be violent to her... He was his husband even then he had no right to hurt her. Abhi looked at her face again... Still drained out of blood... She was beautiful, but not like those models he was surrounded with. She was beautiful for the way she loved everyone around her. She was beautiful for the ability to make people happy and to look after them... Liked what she did to his Dadi... Her dadi has recovered in days instead of months. Her beauty would never fade away because she was beautiful, deep down her soul. Abhi's thoughts were interrupted by Dadi's voice "Beta mai janti hun tum ghar nahi jao gay is liye kahun gi bhi nahi... Mai bhi yaheen ruk jati hun baki sab chalay jaain raat bhi tou bohat ho gai hai"..."Daddi.. Aap sab chalay jaain mai hun na Iskay pass.. Muj pay barosa karain, is baar isay takleef nahi dun ga". Daddi was worried at his grandson's state.. He never looked this tired before...she looked at his face lovingly... She was glad that his Abhi was worried for his wife... He should be..

It was 1 AM... Abhi was sitting beside Pragya from the last several hours. His phone rang, it was Tannu.. He sighed and picked it up "Abhi tum ghar kyun nahi aa rahay mai kabse tumhara wait kar rahi hun.. Chor do us bhenji ka peecha.. Uskay ghar walay sb mar gaey hain kya..." He wasn't amazed at her words... She was just being herself... She hated Pragya but why didn't she have any respect for her family.. Her words angered him. "Stop it Tannu! Kaisi jahilon jaisi batain kar rahi ho... Mai nahi aa raha aur mera intizar karna band karo... Meri jo responsibilities hain mai wo hamesha puri karta hun.." Abhi saw Pragya's hand moving and kept his phone away "Aeyyy Fuggy! Bus karo ye drama.. Paisay pooray ho gaey". She opened her eyes slowly... Their eyes met and Abhi heaved a sigh of relief... She smiled at him and he smiled back at her wondering why was she smiling like a kid, was she happy?... Abhi being Abhi started pulling her leg "Oye.. Khush tou bohat hogi tum... Kabse aisay moorti ki tarhan aik jagha Rockstar ko bitha kar rakha hai". She treid to get up... He held her from her shoulders and made her comfortable..She spoke up.. "Sab kahan gaey?"..."Maila khatam Fuggy... sab chalay gaey aur Rockstar ko sayva k liye chor gaey" she frowned at his answer. Abhi sighed... He knew it was time to talk, talk about them... Their future... And his love Tannu. Pragya noticed his face expressions and she knew what was coming.."Mai janti hun aap mujse kya baat karna chahtay hain.. "Pragya mai."... She didn't let him speak..."Aaj muje bolnay dain... Meri Pak pak sun saktay hain na aap?" Abhi smiled and asked her to continue.. "Aaj Tannu kay parents wo sab theek hai... Aap jo bhi faisla karain... Karain nahi aapne tou faisla kar liya hai aur muje aapka faisla qubool hain..." Abhi wasn't shocked... He knew she would accept whatever decision he would make.. But he wanted her to protest... To tellhim that she was his wife and he can't get rid of her easily... What she said after that shocked Abhi... "Mai dadi se baat karun gi.. Wo meri baat samaj jaain gi... Tannu ki bhi help karun gi kay wo dadi ko pasand aa jaey... Laiken aap muje dadi se milnay se nahi rok saktay... Agar roka tou mai wapis apkay aur Tannu k beech aa jaon gi.., samjhay aap?"... "Tum ye sab kyun karo gi?"..."Meri marzi"... He was getting angry know... What did she mean by meri marzi... She couldn't do whatever she want... Pragya started laughing.."Pagal ho gai ho tum? Hans kyun rahi ho? Tumhare Sar pe chot lagi hai?"...


Pragya knew she couldn't pretend to be happy anymore... She knew she had to tell Abhi what she felt but she knew what an amazing person Abhi was... She didn't want him to show sympathy to her and let her live in house... She wanted him to be happy... To be with the one he loves... She felt her heart skip a beat at the thought of him and Taanu churail together.. But she couldn't fight with her fate... Her fate.. Which has never let her live happily. Finally, she gained all her strength and opened her mouth to speak. Abhi was looking at her, noticing her expressions... He knew she was about to saying something she was afraid to say...He remembered what Bulbul had told him "Di apse apnay dil ki baat kehne gae thi... He knew Pragya was attracted to him but did she love him? What did Love mean to her? Abhi heard her speaking "Aapko kaisay pata K aap Tannu se pyaar kartay hain?" He had no answer. He had no defination of love. Does Love need any defination? "Daikho mai itne saalon se uske sath hun.. Usay commited hun.. Usay shaadi ka wadda kiya tha" ... "Apko uskay sath rehne se khushi milti hai?"...Abhi knew the answer... Tannu was his commitment but She never gave him happiness... She just gave him headache.
