Guys, I was thinking of a scenario (not what I want, but what creatives could do to keep drama to the highest order). If someone wants to write a story, please feel free.
<font color="#0000ff">So, Abhi can't let go of Tannu although he is not much interested in her either. He has some sense of commitment to her and he does not figure out Pragya's love for him or his own yearn for Pragya. Pragya does not do much to fix the situation either (just like how it's all in the soap now).</font><font color="#0000ff">But what happens one day is AbhiGya get stuck in a thunderstorm, and end up in an isolated place (very filmy/soapy situation). Both are drenched in rain and take shelter in a farm or something. Then, Prags is scared of the thunder and the noise of wolfs etc. and ends up clinging to Abhi. Hormones take over and Abhi can't resist her. Pragya obviously is way too far in love and she grants him every right. But what starts off as purely physical/hormonal for Abhi ends up being something else as he makes love to her. Her closeness brings emotions in him beyond physical pleasure and it's the most pleasant shock for him. Basically they go through mind blowing as well as heart connecting lovemaking (sort of weird that it takes this for Abhi to figure what Pragya is to him, but men are men!).</font><font color="#0000ff">So the next day, he needs to leave for a concert abroad (he was not planning on taking Prags with him earlier and nor Tannu but Tannu was hoping). Before he leaves, since he has officially cheated on Tannu and he has felt something very dear with Pragya he decides to break up with Tannu and tells her so. Tannu is mad but he just asks her to move on.</font><font color="#0000ff">But he hasn't talked to Pragya properly yet. And Pragya is way too lost in what had happened the night before to get into any conversation.</font><font color="#0000ff">So, Abhi leaves for the concert for 3 weeks or so, and it's in those days, he realizes he is in love with Pragya and makes sense of their eye locks, his jealousy regarding Suresh/MMS, his possesiveness, Daadi's trust in Pragya, Pragya's sacrifices and well wishes for him etc. In those 3 weeks, he does talk to Pragya over the phone, but it's mostly sweet fighting/flirting and OTT talk.. nothing serious. He avoids Tannu's calls and just texts her to get over them a few times.</font><font color="#0000ff">But Abhi decides to tell Pragya what he has felt and figured out once he reaches home. He buys Pragya some diamonds and wants to sort of "propose" to her.</font><font color="#0000ff">When he reaches home, even before he opens the zip of his bag to give her the gift he has got, other zips end up opening (😉) and basically the serious talk/confessions do not happen.</font><font color="#0000ff">The next morning, Pragya is feeling sick, Abhi is all worried, calls on doctor. Doctor speaks to Pragya before she arrives and when she sees her, she declares Prags is preggers!</font><font color="#0000ff">Daadi/sis are dancing, Abhi is happy too while sort of annoyed it's too early.</font><font color="#0000ff">However, he wants to talk to Pragya finally and when Daadi/sis leave them alone, he attempts but Tannu knocks their door.</font><font color="#0000ff">Tannu sees Pragya's pregnancy stick but takes out another from her bag to show she is pregnant too.</font><font color="#0000ff">
Abhi can't believe it but Pragya is completely heartbroken.</font><font color="#0000ff">Tannu warns Abhi that if he does not divorce Pragya and marry her in a week, she will go to the media with this pregnancy news.</font><font color="#0000ff">Abhi is cornered in every way, because,</font><font color="#0000ff">He personally is very sad to have hurt Pragya this way.</font><font color="#0000ff">He is worried what will happen to Daadi.. if he tells her about Tannu, she would be in deep shock, if he doesn't, Tannu will announce anyway.</font><font color="#0000ff">He does not know what to do with Tannu/baby.</font><font color="#0000ff">He sure knows his name/fame is doomed either ways.</font><font color="#0000ff">He feels like he lost the love he had just found with Pragya.. and also worried for their baby.</font><font color="#0000ff">Prags is not sure what happened between them was meaningful or not now that Tannu bomb has dropped and she is totally heartbroken since everything looks dark to her now. (I feel bad for Pragya here but it's her punishment for not sorting herself or Abhi out before sleeping with him).</font><font color="#0000ff">Finally, it all sorts out after twists and turns, with Aaliyah reforming and saving her brother, where she reveals Tannu had complained to her that Abhi had just talked Chashmish and slept off that drunk night which she is now claiming as the pregnancy night!!</font><font color="#000033">(please don't throw tomatoes at me, just trying to think like the CVs).</font>
This plot is soo Ekta-ish! And the drama quotient will be quite high plus all the angst, and feelings...uff!!!
The only problem I have with this is that I don't like the idea of Pragya granting Abhi permission to make love to her when she is not even sure if Abhi is in love with her or not. I mean it just so un-Pragya to not plan the whole thing or think it through
And I get that Abhi is totally blinded by hormones, but still I don't really like how Abhi doesn't give a second thought on how this decision might affect Pragya in the future.
But still, I could see this being a hit track, even if it's not my most preferred.
