I don't know what exactly is in store for rabul...
But then again...why should BB marry suresh to save her di's marriage...
She can say directly to purab that she heard them and she supports him
and ask him to marry aliyah...

The whole base Suresh Bulbul happening has became very very pathetic (little sis marrying an oldie to save her sisters marriage)
And why suresh? Why can't she marry any other guy at her own suitable age?
One thing is for sure...suresh-bulbul will not be accepted at all...and rabul is a hit jodi...so the downfall in trp will not make suresh-bulbul last for long..
Also..purab marrying aliyah will stop her from futher plotting and that is never gonna happen..

A per the scene you are refering to..it might happen at some point that abhi does ask purab to marry aliyah, but again some twist will happen and they will again not get married...
The whole thing is that aliyah will not get purab easily...even if she gets him, he won't be hers for long...as we need her being all in revenge mood as she is the vamp...
Suresh is a side character and mainly for aliyah to use him against rabul..

I think in the larger picture...rabul will be together

suresh is giving me creepy qualities...he is no more colonel brandon now...sometimes his character makes me feel...he can go the negative way...

sometimes i feel if Subul happens...what is the conflict...the only way is purab turning into a grey-shade character or negative character to separate Subul so that he can bring back BB into his life...and that will be very out of character of Purab Khanna after the way purab has been shaped up...he is a good soul...aaliya have nothing to do with Subul...she will not try to separate them...Subul main story will be acceptance from each other and family acceptance...and involves around Abhigya's issues...what is the story there...its very dull and boring...to add spice...they might ruin purab's character and turn him into a stalker/psycho...which will never be accepted by the audience...and if Puliya gets married...what drama will be shown...nothing at all...purab won't be able to create problems in BB's married life since he has respect for abhi-dadi...whether he likes it or not...he will stay with aaliya...as for aaliya...she has got what she wanted...how will she affect Subul-Abhigya...Puliya relationship will never work out

if Rabul happens...there is lots of conflicts and drama quotient...aaliya will turn against abhi and might take revenge on her brother...she will create problems for both Abhigya-Rabul...suresh might turn grey-shade or negative...since BB hates him...insults him...and abhi has got Rabul married...he already hates abhi...he will have more venom for him...he will try to create MU b/w Rabul...and take revenge on abhi...and not to forget...he has been humiliated by abhi many times...

currently they are hinting towards strong enmity b/w aaliya-abhi...the bedroom confrontation b/w aaliya-abhi hints towards that only...very soon...aaliya is going to hate her brother and will try to ruin his life...and they need a solid reason...what will be perfect than Rabul's marriage

there is lots of 2nd thoughts running into my head...and this are the few thoughts that came to me...

only ekta and team knows what is going to happen for Rabul...keeping my expectations lowest possible

YES I COMPLETELY AGREE WID U . ABHI EVEN TOLD AALIYA THAT HE WILL NEVER GET HER MARRIED TO PURAB BECAUSE DADI WILL NOT SUPPORT IT AND ABHI WILL NOT GO AGAINST DADI

I knw many people especially rabul fans wont like it! but in old shows like kasauti, Mr Bajaj and Prerna were far more loved by people even with age gap where his character went thru lots of leaps in attitude! and in that case as well, the canon initial jodi was loved by people!

Can't predict abt RaBul anything as of now..
