That's the sad part for me: he forgives himself for it, and they probably won't show him being very guilty and trying to "repent."

Also I was referring to Tia's post on The Suresh's Outburst at Abhi thread. She said that Abhi is everything but a dhongi. But I believe it's the total opposite

he'll have lots of other things to feel guilty about and repent for; this is supposed to be a simple triumph for him, though points to the CVs for having suresh sour it a bit! i would be super happy if we got even a hint of abhi having complex thoughts/feelings about doing all this, but my guess is we're not going to get more than we already got - him explaining the plan to everyone, him thinking to himself that he feels bad to do this to chashmish just before he sees the car, him saying sorry to sarla and everyone and starting to say sorry to pragya. that'll have to count as sufficient evidence that abhi was holding himself accountable to an extent.

on a serious note. probably daadi got him in that habit? ask forgiveness not permission type of attitude - and then you don't even need to ask forgiveness when daadi (or chashmish) loves you beyond reason to begin with.
