The Mehra's watched numbly as Pragya took the Pheres again.. As one step after another, Bulbul felt her heart break for her sister. That minute then Sarala cursed herself for getting Pragya married to Abhishek. Pragya was blank and totally numb as she took the Pheras. Completely robotic as The Mangal sutra went around her neck and so did the sindoor.

As they came down to get blessings, Pragya slipped and he instantly caught her by holding her waist, that was when Pragya noticed the sehra.."When and why would Suresh wear Sehra?"

The loud commotion in the entrance distracted them.. The press barged in questioning madly.

Rep-" Pragya ji Is it true that Your own husband arranged for your second marriage?"

Question after question was fired in her direction...Tanu smirked hidden at the entrance.." Now this middle class girl got what she deserved."

A sudden voice shook the hall

" Enough"..All turned to look at the groom and gasped as Abhi took off the Sehra..

Tanu froze as she saw Abhi in the groom costume.

Abhi-" I warn you all think before you speak about Pragya Abhishek Mehra."

Pragya gasped, this was the first time he addressed her as his wife...Wait she was supposed to marry Suresh today ,but where did Abhi come from?

Bulbul felt her head spin very fast but not as much as Pragya. In a second Pragya blacked out.

Suresh and Purab watched everything as it occurred in slow motion, Pragya falling and Abhi catching her...

6 hours later, Pragya slowly moved and woke up rubbing her eyes . She got up only to find Abhi sleeping in a sitting position, holding her hand. Reacting on her instinct she pulled away her hand, waking him up.

Abhi-"Pragya are you okay? Do you need something?"

Pragya-"What happened to me and what am I doing here?"

Abhi-"Chashmish relax, you fainted because of low Bp. Where else do you expect to be? You are my wife"

Pragya-"No I don't accept you as my husband"

Abhi-"Pragya listen ..I know I hurt you but."

Pragya-"But what Mr. Mehra?"

A- "I am sorry"

P-"Your sorry takes away all the torture you, your sister and so called girlfriend gave right?"

Abhi-" No..It doesn't par.."

Pragya-"You know what the very sight of you disgust me.."

The pitch of their voices increased bringing all the Mehra's to the room.

Dadi-"Pragya Bahu.." she began

P-"no dadi don't please you are a woman as well .How would you react if you were in my place?"

To it none of the Mehra ladies had an answer.

Pragya-" He can have any amount of affairs he wants but I should be perfect.." sarcastically.

Pragya turned to Aliya

Pragya-"You called me characterless right? Do you have one Aliya? If Purab left you it was only because of this self-centered character of yours."

Pragya-" I curse the day I came into this family.."

Pragya took a deep breath and spoke-" From now on I will stay here only for Dadi and the reputation of this house...Don't expect me to do any duties of a bahu or a sister in law of all a wife."

Abhi entered the room, his insides churning. Pragya was fast asleep on the sofa with her glasses on. He sat down on his knees admiring her, as her hair flew onto her face he tucked her hairs and bend to kiss her forehead.

Abhi-"You have every right to be angry on me Pragya. I know the hurt I gave is too severe. I will definitely win you and your heart Chashmish .After all You Belong With Me...

An insane part of me wants to write a sequel to this but my mind says other wise..What do you suggest?
