SLAP was much needed. Rockstar Daadi is someone he adores.. so it's good.
BUT, since the slap was Daadi's disbelief of his words against Pragya's character, it's more like she was protecting Pragya than accusing Abhi of anything. So Abhi wasn't really punished for his faults.

And Rockstar Daadi wasn't mad at him later nor was Abhi affected much by the slap. He continued to beat up Suresh.
