i think today's episode brought us back to the title of the show itself - kumkum bhagya
not being a philosophy class but every time the topic of fate/destiny/luck appears it always is tied to the fact that it cannot be controlled and that whatever is "written" in our lives is inevitable.
when i was quite young - i did used to watch a lot of tv serials - (i was 12) lmao - and i believed all that about the fate and it happens for a reason but growing up i realise that whatever is written in your fate may still be there but it is STILL in YOUR hands - therefore you are in control of changing it around.
if you believe that something will happen, odds are it will but you don't always have to let it be that way - you can change the surroundings as well as your mind to equip the outcome you want from your 'so called destiny'
coming back to the show...whether abhi likes it or not pragya has accepted her fate and the episode just about showed this. abhi was in control of his destiny - rather he was sure that tanu has always been his lucky charm but as soon as he began to imagine pragya - the tables turned. she is now his lucky charm just because abhi himself started to believe so and even follow what pragya said. though pragya is letting destiny shape up itself abhi is beginning to play about with it. he never wanted pragya to be a part of his life but now that he is controlling that element of his life - his destiny is beginning to change and that really stood out for me in today's episode!
i dunno maybe im thinking too deep but its something that interested me so i thought to share 😊
btw sorry for being so inactive on this forum but i refrained myself from verbally abusing every single episode and character after that mandir scene!
