Hello everyone !

I have all good wishes for all of you who are enjoying the show , dont want to take any joy away from you or bash the show - after all its just a show and if you are happy , thats it. I am happy for you , keep enjoying ! 👍🏼

But I do have a wishlist and some disappointment to share , because I too had hoped that I will enjoy the show and I too like the actors in the show - especially Shabbir and Sriti .But , thanks to the CV's , I can no longer watch the show even if I try to - and believe you me, I keep trying !😊

It was a beautiful show with potential when it started . It seemed fresh in its approach - starting with a leading lady who seemed to have self respect and a mind of her own for a change and a leading lad who seemed in the beginning to be as gentle hearted as he was baby -faced .

Yes Shabbir and Sriti as lead pair were inviting and endearing . Purab and Bulbul too brought in a different fervour and were adorable.

I started watching it in the hope of seeing lovely Shabbir and Sriti in a lovely nice show and hats off to them that I keep checking it out once in a while, atleast on this forum , to see if the show has started living up to its promise ...but I drop out yet again.

Why do I watch or why do I write here ? Because I would love to watch this show for the lovely people that are there in it ...and because I keep hoping against hope that some magic will happen and the show will become brilliant ! 😛

And why do I stop watching again? ...because it becomes unbearable . Period.

We have same situations, same behaviour - full of gender bias,foolishness, forced humour and mindless drama , among other things ...even if it is just a show, I think it could be better.

Well..., I can see that I dont matter in the scheme of things 😛 - CV's surely arent listening ...😊.

So I was wondering, dont the lead pair have any say whatsoever ?I can understand it may not be too much but certainly some influence they can have to make this show better than it is now ?There is a lot of scope to develop an enchanting story with nice angles and interesting developments and lots of viewers would come running back to view the show and its lovely actors .

As a fan , I can now only appeal to dear Shabbir and Sriti - please kuch karo ...please ! please !

Please influence the right people and make this a superlative show that it could have been ! Kuch hum jaise bichare fans ki bhi sunlo ! Sun rahaa hai na tu...Ro rahi hun main ..😛😛..

Well, I rest my case .Thanks for listening. I wish all actors and all viewers a happy time and I will keep peeping back like an incorrigible optimist.

I think I will just watch their offscreen interviews for a while and on location videos of KB ...they all look so happy together 😊

I love the show for certain stuff, but if you ask me I have a 100 things I would like to see differently. But having seen two previous Ekta soaps, I probably know what to expect. It's never gonna be a logical, sensible soap. It will have all sorts of over the top drama, cringeworthy scenarios etc.
Having said that there will be endearing and beautiful moments too that you end up cherishing.

So, I just take it for what it is. Not that you should not complain, I am saying, I have been there and this is how Ekta works.

The team is pretty much similar to the previous soaps I watched (Shabbir, dialog writer, creative directors, producers etc.). So, I am not expecting a lot different here.. I would only be happy if it gets more sensible. LOL.

As far as Sriti and Shabbir go, from what I have seen of Shabbir, he seems to be a director's actor. He is not much interfering types and makes the best of what is given to him. He is also Ekta's friend and I am sure they know what they are doing and what works in the bigger picture.

Sriti, on the other hand, seems to have walked out of soaps she didn't like. But this is a light hearted soap and I hope she sticks to this as I like her very much.

I don't agree. The actors are professionals and doing a job. The PH may not take it well if they interfere with their work. Balaji and Ekta are big names in TV. By my past exp with balaji soaps Ekta does not take interference very well and will not think twice before replacing the actor even if they are leads. It has happened with my favorite soaps years ago as well. I have watched countless EK soaps. S&S doing a fab job playing their characters. I don't want them to geta setback in their careers.

I don't think the actors can, will or even have to do anything. The falling TRPS will do the needful. I think the audience too has had enough of the harebrained stuff being shown practically in a loop.

Haven't watched the show for a few days now but I can bet my last dollar that if and when I do begin to watch it again, the story will be stuck in the same place it was in before..Abhi making obnoxious remarks about Pragya's looks, replete with sexists comments, the interfering biddies trying to throw them together, the mother having the vapours etc.

You're dead on in your description of the show's present state. Nothing has significantly changed. But the TRPs have fallen so hopefully someone has noticed.

That being said, today's episode was actually enjoyable (to me, anyway, as a constant critic of the show). Or maybe it's relative to the aggravating episodes that came just before and I've lost all sense of objectivity on the matter. 😆

I don't agree with this post at all... as much as we all would love for the show to get better... unless it performs very badly on the TVT charts, the CVs wont wake up from their self induced slumber.

the actors cannot/are not in a position to put pressure on the creative heads and plus like someone has said on this thread already... EK doesn't tolerate interference from anyone especially the actors in her script..

besides sriti has already tweeted her views on this respect that her hands are tied on this.. if you have followed her.. you would have already read her view on this.

this serial tracks is all politics in the name of the PH and channel.. 🤢 all is done to garner the max eyeballs.. in the name of TVT. TVT is the ultimate fr TV land just as money is everything for Bollywood movies.. if the movie manages to gross 200 crore in its first few weeks, its a superhit! 🤢 nevermind how shallow the story, or the acting or the editing is..

Hmm... I see your point . And also understand it.

When I am not watching , I am very stable minded and open to logic 😊

But when I do watch again , I get greedy for a wonderful show . 😛

Mostly for this show because it pulls me to it and has potential.

When I am not watching , I am in my adult mode and dont blame anyone or expect much.

Like now.

Also , to be honest , I do understand the actors cant and wont interfere , it was just a friendly call and venting myself in this forum where I consider all of you my friends as we are watching the same show - no matter how different or same our reactions .

No No , I didnt mean it that way

I thought may be they can give some good ideas and suggestions !😊 Or gently influence people who are pooling ideas and scenes...

Its more like I am their fan so am sharing my wishlist with them and with you all in this forum - being kiddish I know , and I know its just a show , but sometimes you want to speak to someone ...hai na ?

Like I wish there were all these nice scenes but not not such brazen insult of Pragya the woman - which is absolutely abuse , in no uncertain terms - its just that it is done in a show by a character enacted by endearing Shabbir ...So while I get drawn to Shabbir's innocent face, i also get shocked by the way he behaves with his wife or walks off to tanus room to spend the night etc (the fact that dadi landed up etc is different< I just feel bad that a man behave so casually towards two women ...etc)

Anyways - for me , Shabbir and Sriti , the actors, always win in their positive pull against the repulsion I feel for the characters they portray ...so I do watch again after every few days to see them !

No ill-feelings dear.
