Dear Friends: So in the EK version, the haunted house experience was nice, and short and sweet for Abhi...I don't want to let him off so easily! MWAH HAH HAH 😈😈Abhi had no idea how long he had been crumpled up in a heap on the floor. By the time he opened his eyes, the weird old dude was gone, the lamp in the middle of the room was no longer flickering and his cell phone had no bars left.
"Great. Just what I need. Stuck in a creepy house with that four-eyed Bhoothni and who knows what else," he grumbled, but also relieved to have his voice back to his pre-fan-girl normal.
He noticed a stream of light coming from a door further away.
"That's strange. I didn't notice that door before. Then again, that old creep freaked me out. Me! Rockstar Abhi! Get a grip...it's all the stress that horrid chashmish has been putting me through."
Convinced, Abhi strode with bravado towards the door. It was slightly ajar. Abhi knocked and when no one answered, he entered.
This room was the opposite of the other one - it was so brightly lit that Abhi held up his hand to his face and squinted. He had only walked in a few steps when the door suddenly slammed shut.
"That's weird - there's no breeze, or any windows in this room for that matter" thought Abhi. "Never mind...I'll just open the door again."
He turned the knob but it didn't budge. Slightly panicked but playing it cool, he put his full body weight but nothing changed. What was even weirder was the door - it seemed to push him back.
In fact, the harder he grunted and shoved, the more the door seemed to force him back into the room. Now sweating profusely, he gave one more hard shove and was flung backwards, toppling to the floor.
He lay panting on the floor, and looked around. It was no longer overly bright and Abhi could distinguish that the room was mostly empty with the exception of a rather large table that was surrounded by chairs.
Abhi tried to get up but the hard fall had sprained his back. Groaning, he rolled over and slowly got up. As he walked towards the table he realized he was not alone.
