Back upstairs at abhis house abhi was about to turn round to talk to pragya when he realised she was not there! They all ran downstairs to see where she had gone when they realised that daadi had sent all the guests home and pragyas family.
Daadi was about to ask what had happened when abhi asked her where pragya was.
"I don't know," she replied " I thought she was with you upstairs."
Bulbul tried calling pragya but they realised that she had left her phone at home.
"Where could she have gone?" said abhi.
"Let's go outside and look!" said purab.
Purab and bulbul left in one car while abhi stayed at home just in case pragya came back.
Pragya was walking in the middle of the road crying. It was raining heavily. She thought about everything that had happened blaming herself.
"Maybe I am unlucky for everyone" she thought. "Everything is my fault. I don't deserve to live. I have no other choice" she thought.
A car was beeping the horn madly as a sign for pragya to move out of the way but she didn't before the car could slow down it crashed into pragya and she fell to the floor drenched in blood. The man in the car was too worried that he would get the blame for the accident and didn't stop to pick her up. He left her laying there.
Purab and bulbul were driving past when they saw a body lying in the middle of the road. Purab got out of the car to see her and when he realised it was pragya he picked her up, put her in the car and drove to the hospital quickly.
Back home abhi was pacing the front door when his phone rang
"What? Which hospital? He asked.
He informed everyone about pragyas accident and they all rushed to the hospital.
When they arrived purab told them that pragya had been taken to the ICU.
"We found her in the middle of the road drenched in blood so when we brought di here they said they would need to do an operation. I have told them to get ready for it while we get the money sorted out." Said Purab.
The doctor came out with some pieces of paper.
"Please could the patients husband sign this" he asked.
Abhi stepped forward and signed the papers.
"Please make sure my wife is okay." Abhi cried.
"We will try our best." He said and went inside.
The operation was quite long and abhi was becoming restless. All he could think about was the times he had tortured pragya badly. He wanted to slap himself for doing such things.
He remembered that pragya always used to believe in god. He walked out of the hospital.
"Where are you going?" daadi asked.
"To the mandir" abhi replied and walked out.
When abhi reached the mandir he took his shoes off and put his n=hands together before god and asked for forgiveness.
"I know that what I have done is not worth forgiveness but I want a new start. I want to change everything. Just make sure that Pragya will be fine. Please. That is all I want. If something happens to her I will not be able to forgive myself. I wont be able to live. Please" he spoke and fell to his knees crying.
He felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around to see bulbul and purab.
" I am so sorry bulbul, I really am" abhi cried. "this is all my fault. I am sorry."
"It's okay jiju. I can see true love for di in your eyes," she said.
"Everything will be fine," Purab assured him.
"I hope so, and I will also make sure that both of you get married." Abhi promised.
Just then abhis phone rang. It was akaash he said the operation was successful.
Abhi told bulbul and purab the good news and the all went back to the hospital. The three of them walked in to see pragya laying on the bed still unconscious. Abhi sat next to her and held her hand.
"I am sorry pragya", he said and began to cry again.
Just then pragya opened her eyes. When she realised she was in the hospital she sat up.
"Why am I here?" she asked.
Abhi looked at her.
"You met with an accident", said purab.
"Why did you bring me her, you should have left me, I don't deserve to live. This is all my fault. I ruined abhis life, your life, bulbul's life and aaliyas life." She cried.
Abhi sat next to her and so did bulbul.
"No pragya" abhi hugged her. "Nothing is your fault, please stop blaming yourself, I promise I will sort everything out, I ruined your life and now I will sort it out."
"No Abhishek, its not your fault you are a nice person its just that I have bad luck in my life, I don't deserve to live, I should die..." cried pragya.
She was trying to pull one of the needles that were in her arm out when abhi stopped her and hugged her tight, she cried to let her go but he held her and she finally fell back asleep.
Abhi held her hand for a few moments before walking out with purab. He needed to sort a few things out. He was about to talk to aaliya when he saw tanu take her hand and pull her to the next corrider. Quietly abhi and purab followed while bulbul told everyone that pragya was fine and was sleeping.
"Tanu what happened tell me?" said aaliya.
"You know when purab left the marriage hall, he wrote a letter for abhi which told him that pragya was not the girl he loved and I found the letter. I threw the letter in the bin because otherwise pragya would have stayed in the house but please don't tell abhi otherwise my future will be ruined..." tanu said but stopped when she saw abhi and purab walking towards her.
"We are done tannu," abhi said through gritted teeth. "LEAVE!" he shouted.
"But I love..." began tanu but abhi cut her off.
"No you don't your just with me for your own life because with me you get the fame. Without me you are nothing. You never loved me if there is one who loves me then it is pragya. Leave!" he shouted.
Tannu stormed out.
"Bhai trust me I didn't know anything about this." Said aaliya.
"I know and I want to talk to you" said abhi. "You will not marry purab because I don't want to ruin your life"
"But bhai I love him." Said aaliya
"I know aaliya but he doesn't love you, you can't force him. I know this is difficult but sometimes in love you have to make sacrifices. Pragya was right: there is nothing happy about love" said abhi. Tears began to fall down his face but he quickly consumed himself.
"I'm sorry aaliya," said purab. "if I had spoken up earlier then none of this would have happened. I am sorry but I cannot marry you because I don't want to ruin your life."
"I understand now," said aaliya "I should have thought about everything first, this is all my fault."
"It isn't anybody's fault" said a voice.
They turned round to see bulbul.
"Lets stop blaming ourselves and start a new life!" she said cheerfully.
"Your right," said abhi and they all hugged each other hoping for a better future.
