Finally I see a silver lining in this cloudy drama of thick misunderstanding laden clouds.
Purab and Pragya. Affected much by being sacrificial cows and goats.
Purab sacrificing himself for Bulbul's happiness is affected that he cannot do justice to the woman he is going to marry. That he cannot even think of kissing is bothering him so much. Shows how sensitive he is to the situation.
Pragya sacrificed herself for her mother's happiness and still continuing to sacrifice herself for her happiness. Silly it seems that she is going uphill when there is no hope of reaching the summit and she has to fall down the precipice.
However there is a silver lining for us to see whats between the thick clouds. Pragya has for another time accepted how bad she feels about the whole thing just for herself. "Apne aap ko kya samjhaoongi." This doesn't make her robotic sacrificial, but that she had built up certain expectations out of this marriage. And with all sandwiching, she had not been able to explain to herself what she can understand all of it that happened to her, her repetitive breaking of marriage opportunities.
This sort of explains why she is behaving dumb and numb. She has become numb in her extreme state of frustration where she had been forced to show fortitude for her mother. We do know that she married sincerely, but seems, she had filled up some hopes from her marriage, which she is unable to let go.
For a moment, it was flabbergasting to hear her say to Abhi, "I want to do something good for you, because you kept my mother's happiness." How could she say that to someone who played with her and her family, cheated her and her family. There is no way we cannot think of this gesture as nothing but obtuse.
However, her pleading thought provoking taunts to Abhi and Tanu, seem to show; what is that she truly wants. She is wishing that people who have misunderstood, to be able to know the true from false. She is wishing that from Abhi and his sister Aliya. She is extremely disappointed of their inability to see truth, to filter real from unreal.
Then, is this what Pragya wants? To identify truth, to understand it?
Kaash ki aapko asli ya nakli ka farak pata hota.
Aur aapki best friend yeh sochti hain ki main paise ki lalchee hoon.
Those are anti climaxes one is seeking of this drama since that misunderstanding drama began. It could be anyone's wish for it to happen, to develop brains. It seems an impossible feat.
However, the emphasis does seem to be put on everyone who is under misunderstanding, to open their inner eye and see the truth. It is being applied to Abhi, Aliya and Bulbul, all living under an illusion about their planning.
