Pragya had been dying for a chance to dance in the rain, though she knew that it was impossible with the family around. One day the family had to leave for Ludhiana but Abhi had to stay back due to some concert, thus, Pragya was asked to stay with him.
Pragya woke up in the morning to find no Abhi. She looked around, there was no sign of any one. Neither Abhi nor the servants. Pragya was initially confused but she shrugged off thinking Abhi must have sent the servants home and he would have left for his concert.
She could hear the rain outside. She hesitated at first but gave in to her senses. She quickly ran outside. The moment the rain touched her skin, she could feel all of her tensions and problems vaporizing. She twirled around in the rain, letting her care free side escape. She had kept this all in since her father left. She never let her other side out, afraid to be hurt again.
Despite what Abhi thought about her, at times he made her wanted to show her side. She felt a kind of security with him. Despite all his tortures, she felt it was same with him to let go but she had fought her urge to do so every time.
Pragya jumped and twriled and jumped. She was so happy. She could literally feel the music around her. Little did she know, someone had been noticing all this time.
Abhi looked at her and he was so mesmerized seeing her. This was the first time he had seen Pragya smile. This was the first time he had seen her so carefree. His brain argued that this was the girl who broke Aaliyah's heart but his heart was overpowering the brain with the attraction that was pulling Abhi towards her.
Slowly in trance Abhi started move towards her. Pragya heard Abhi coming. She turned to see Abhi drenched as well. She suddenly became self-conscious. Her clothes were drenched, becoming a little see through, stuck against her body. Pragya looked down and tried to go away but before she could make a move, Abhi held her by the waist and pulled her towards him.
Pragya stared at him shocked. Abhi moved back the hair that had came in her face. Pragya just stared at him surprised. Was he drunk? Pragya thought. He didn't look drunk. Abhi slowly removed her glasses and through them on the grass. Pragya tried to protest but Abhi silenced her by putting a finger on her lips. He slowly tightened his grip around her.
Pragya struggled and tried to run away but Abhi caught her hand and pulled her close again. He slowly kissed her forehead. Pragya looked at him not knowing what to do? Abhi twirled her around so he could back hug her. Pragya tried to protest but his grip was too strong. Abhi slowly kissed her neck, causing Pragya's eyes to pop open in surprise. He moved the the trail of kisses above her neck.
Pragya was still too surprised and she started to breath heavily. Her heart seemed to be enjoying it but her brain was too puzzled to comprehend the situation. Abhi moved his hand on her back, slowly and sensually. Pragya in instinct turned around to face him. He gave Pragya a smile and kissed her cheeks.
He slowly leaned in to kiss her, just when there lips were about to meet. Tannu pushed Pragya. She slipped and fell in the pool. Pragya didn't know how to swim, she tried struggling. Before Tannu could question Abhi, he dived in the water to save Pragya from drowning. He jumped in and got hold of her and brought her out.
"Are you crazy?" Abhi said looking at Tannu. "You could have killed her!"
"You're angry on me?" Tannu replied fuming. "She's the one who took Purab away from Aaliyah!"
"Still give no right to try to kill her!" Abhi replied furious. "You know what Tannu? Just leave!" Abhi turned away but he saw Pragya on the ground, very still. He rushed towards her.
"ABHI!" Tannu cried. "I'm talking to you!" Abhi held Pragya. She was cold, her body temperature was extremely low. Why did I have cold water in the pool? Abhi mentally cursed. And why the rain so warm? He scooped her up and ran towards the room.
Abhi made Pragya lie down on the bed. He covered her with a huge blanket. He brought out a blow heater from the store room and placed it next to her. He started rubbing her hands. He could feel her getting warmer.
"ABHI?" Tannu came fuming in to the room.
"SHHH!" Abhi said. "Pragya's sleeping."
"You know what? I am leaving, forever." Tannu said fuming. "You can enjoy with you wife who you are madly in love with."
"Yes. I will." Abhi told her. "You can go." Tannu stomped her foot and left fuming. Abhi returned his attention to his sick wife, who had opened her eyes and was looking at what had just happened here. Abhi gave her an assuring smile, and Pragya couldn't help but smile back.
