Are you talking about Shabbir Ahluwalia's looks? I can tell you this from my experience. I was watching him in another soap and my first impression was umm he so unkempt, rugged and brash. But soon, he grew on me. And he is pretty good at displaying passion, hurt, jealousy, romance, comedy and all. He doesn't score too much on subtlety but which Ekta soap is subtle anyway? He has a raw sensuality that can take you over. I have never seen Sriti before this, so can't talk for her. But I do like her character in this soap as it is not a meek one.

He has actually grown on me...the only thing bothering me is his nose...it's a big big for his face and as i see it, i bit of a nose job - absolutely NOT the Michael Jackson kind - would help...just a bit of thinning would help...if there is a good make-up artist shading would help...would work. I like the character and his rugged look goes well with his character. Even his clothes to do not bother me...as an actor he's pretty good and he fits the role well.

Pragya is not fickle and silly compared to so many leading characters; i simply LOVE her depth of maturity and her willingness to speak up for what is wrong. For so long we've seen leading actresses of the self-sacrificing type to appease the conservatives who watch these shows and forsaking the audience of strong Indian women who fight day-in and day-out for justice knowing that that odds are stacked against them but do what is right and in a civil and dignified manner.

I am looking forward to this romance...what I liked thus far it is not a romance built on two people staring at each other...in the scene where Abhi splatters Pragya's face with mud, you did not get the long winded staring scene and then a few lines, you actually got some interaction and minimal background music.

I am looking forward to seeing production teams move behind "staring" and background music and the accidental falling into each others arms to create romance in these shows..it is REALLY boring and forced.

However, like with so many shows,,,CVs kill a potential romance after a three months...and i sense it will happen again...after all the same writers who gave us the jodi are giving us a boring romance of BulBul and Purab and will force us to endure an even MORE boring one with BulBul and Suresh.

Give me Suresh and Aliya - that would be fun to watch.

I admit I was not liking Shabbir's look in the show initially with the fake long hair🤢 Us ke uppar he was actually overacting the 'Rockstar' part. The attitude was so unnatural and OTT I used to cringe.

But he sort of underwent a makeover not only appearance wise after he let go off that silly hair of his but also a change in personality. He suddenly became very appealing to me. I like his acting and he has certainly grown on me.

I do not mind the nose too much😆 Was never looking for perfection anyway. Perfection is boring.
