At first I thought I will make a topic on Pragya bulbul cute bonding. But this comparision and showing Pragya aged and less beautifull hurt me and made me too angry on cvs. I didnt find any diffrence between their age. Although I knw its all becoz of stories need. But it hurts.

Well, this story is based on an Austen novel, where an important plot point was how Elinor ( Pragya in this case) is not as vivacious as Marianne. That's the whole point of the story. How can Cvs disregard the plot of the original book? 😕 If anything, they are going exactly right.

Ok this is old, but anyways my two cents.

Even I didn't agree with the whole look comparison simply because it was unconvincing as both looked equally beautiful. And it was definitely not enough of a cause to cancel the wedding or instead demand dowry as recompense 😳.

However we should remember this is only about the characters being played and not about the actresses. The only thing this scene wanted to show was society's silly perceptions of looks as well as age being a major deciding factor in a marriage. As Pragya says to the guests that there many brides who have had to face the same situation she was in with their parents bowing down to pressure. And its a sad fact that younger and more outgoing girls are considered more marriage material than older introverted ones. So this was just to highlight that fact.
