Hey all 😊 Hope everything's going well! NadiaIqbal did an awesome update for today's episode, but just in case some of you wont be able to catch today's episode, here is my detailed version 😊
Precap: Vikram with the lawyer, Vikram and the lawyer go to see Niyati in jail, court preceding where Niyati again says she had killed Amit, the lawyer accusing Rajver and Crol of also being capable of killing Amit.
The prosecution calls up Antra to come on the stand as a witness as the rest of the family looks on. Antra comes to the stand and takes the oath that she will say only the truth. The lawyer starts to ask Antra his questions, asking if the kangan were the ones she had given Niyati. Antra replies that they were. The lawyer asks Antra what Niyati had told her about the kangan before the police had come. Antra hesitates and then says that during the puja that day at their house, Antra had noticed that Niyati was not wearing the kangan. Antra says that when she asked Niyati where they were, Niyati replied that since the kangan were loose for her, she had given them to someone to fix them.
The lawyer nods and then walks over to Niyati and asks her to wear the kangan. Niyati is shocked as she looks around the courtroom. Suddenly her lawyer says he objects but the judge overrules the decision. Niyati hesitantly puts them on as they are a perfect fit and then the lawyer tells her to take them off. He then ties this together saying that Niyati had lied to Antra and that finding the kangan near Amit's body was enough proof.
The other lawyer starts his questionning by asking Antra what Niyati's reaction was when the police came to the house with the kangan and he warns Antra that everything has already been written in the statement but they want to hear it from her mouth. Antra says that when Niyati saw the kangan, she became scared and kept repeating that she hadn't done anything. Antra is allowed to go sit down again. The lawyer makes it clear that Niyati had claimed that she hadn't done anything and then a few hours later, had changed completely and admitted to the crime. He repeats that the prosecuter keeps saying that since the kangan were near the body, Niyati was the murderer. The prosecuter gets up and says that they were her kangan and Niyati's lawyer says this is what i'm saying, the kangan were Niyati's and this is why she is hiding a secret.
The lawyer reiterates to the court that the kangan had fit Niyati properly and according to the statement, there were no marks on Niyati, meaning nobody had forced themself on her or fought her. He then concludes that Niyati had out of her own free will taken off the kangan and given them to Amit. He then wonders outloud why? Why had she given the kangan to Amit. He then questions why Niyati is taking the blame on herself if she hasn't done the murder? He then goes back to what the prosecution had assumed abotu Niyati not giving the kangan to Amit. He them starts yelling that if that was not the case, then had she gone to the police to give them the kangan to help them with this case? Or had the corpse gotten up and put the kangan in his pocket by himself.
The prosecutor comes and says that he is getting confused and wonders what Niyati's lawyer was trying to prove if she had alraedy admitted to the crime. The lawyer goes to Niyati and asks if she committed the murder and Niyati replies that she has. He asks her how she did it and she is very hesitant. The lawyer keeps asking her, saying he can't hear her and to speak loud enough for the whole courtroom to hear her. Niyati is very nervous as the lawyer tells her to speak as everyone wanted to know how she killed Amit. The lawyer then says to the judge that it's strange that Niyati claims to have murdered Amit but didn't remember how she did it. He then asks her what she had used to kill him and again Niyati is rendered speechless
The lawyer then requests to bring out the evidence and unveils the weapon used to kill Amit. Raj is shown looking scared in the background as the lawyer comes and asks Niyati if this was the weapon used to kill Amit. He asks her to give him and answer and then screams yes or no and niyati screams yes back. In the spur of the moment, the lawyer asks her which hand she had used. Niyati is very nervous as she says that she had used her right hand. The lawyer clarifies then asks where she had used it, on the shoulder or the head. He screams and continues to question her and Niyati yells that she had hit him on the head. The lawyer throws the object and it smashes ont he floor. The lawyer turns around and says to the judge that Niyati is lying because she didn't know that the weapon Amit was killed with was not that but this knife. He brings it out in the open as Niyati looks in surprise and then closes her eyes in horror.
The judge dismisses the court saying they would proced the next day. Niyati's lawyer goes outside and apologizes saying that it was already 5 o'clock and he hadn't proven Niyati innocnet but Vikram says that he had fought well and Dadi says that she had faith that Niyati would be back home the next day. Niyati comes out and Dadi stops her as she gives her a kiss on the forehead and blesses her. The polive excuse themselves as they lead Niyati away.
