Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing well! Thanks to everyone for the well wishes for my exams, I'm finally DONE! Uff those were a long two weeks! Lol now I can finally sit back and enjoy my serials :P Anyways, here's today's updates
Recap: Niyati begging for an extension from Amit, Amit telling her she has to leave the kangan with him, Raj at the door, Jaswant inquiring where Raj is, Niyati doing the pooja, Antra asking about the kangan, police coming in.
The police inspector looks at Niyati and calls out her name but before she can reply, Vikram stops him. The inspector says that they have a right to do this and that this isn't just a small matter. The inspector asks Niyati what she was doing from 9 to 10 last night. Dadi sa tries to interfere but the inspector stops her and that he wants to ask some questions about this. The inspector tells Niyati that she will have to go to the police station with them. Vikram along with the rest of the family is shocked, but the inspector says he needs to question Niyati about Amit and so she must go down to the police station with them. He asks Vikram to cooperate with them and Niyati slowly gets up with the two lady inspectors, the whole family watching somberly as she makes her way out. Padma comes to Niyati and Niyati grabs her hands and breaks into tears saying she hadn't done anything. Padma is crying as well and begs the inspector to listen to her and that Niyati wouldn't do something like that.
The inspector says this is a murder case and that they couldn't do anything because the police would have to investigate. Padma breaks down and begs Vasu Dadi and Vikram to do something as they were taking her Niyati away. Everyone stands quiet as Padma begs Vasu once again but Vasu just tears up yet stands quietly. Chachi ji asks why Niyati had lied about the kangan then and Raj interjects saying that they were found with Amit as well. Raj says to Vikram that they shouldn't interfere with the police's investigation and Niyati is shocked. Raj says that if she has done the crime, she has to pay the time and says kyun Inspector Saab, aapka kanun bhi yahi kehta hai na?
Niyati breaks out of her shock and says she hadn't committed any murder and asks her Dadi to believe her. Niyati calls Vikram but he just looks down guiltily. Niyati clings onto Padma and repeatedly states that she did nothing (uh oh…I'm thinking they might have Carol as a witness...because she did see Niyati there, poor Carol will be forced to speak against Niyati). The inspector says let's go and the two lady inspectors lead Niyati out of the house as the whole family looks on while Padma is looking at them in angrily (Vasu almost looks like she's smiling….lol I guess I'm just going crazy!). Padma runs out after Niyati. Niyati meanwhile is lead into the police truck and it drives away, Padma running and calling after her. Padma stops at the gates and clings onto it, breaking down and asking Niyati not to go.
Everyone is shown leaving the pooja (how I wish Shaurya or Agni would save Niyati…but anyways) as the whole family stands dejectedly. Padma comes to the front slowly, looking at the family somberly. She walks up to Vasu Dadi and says that she has brought Niyati up since she was young and has taught her not to lie. Raj rolls her eyes as Padma continues to beg Vasu saying till that day she hadn't hurt anyone so how would she be able to handle the police. Dadi assures Padma that she has full faith in Niyati and knows she wouldn't do something like that. She tells Vikram that he will have to save the kulvaddhu of the house as Padma begs him to as well. She tells him to arrange the biggest lawyer, as Raj is shown annoyed. Antra says that everyone has full faith in Niyati but they are all wondering why she had lied and given the kangan to a chor, Raj looking on relieved. Padma tries to convince everyone that there must have been a mistake or she must have done it for a reason and that Niyati couldn't do anything like that.
She then goes to beg Jaswant to go with her to the police station and talk to the police. Jaswant reluctantly says that he had talked to Carol and Rajveer that morning and Carol had said that she had seen Niyati in front of that very hotel and everyone is shocked.
Padma still feels Niyati hasn't done anything and Raj feels she has reached her limits. She applauds Padma for thinking that the rest of the family was wrong and only her Niyati was right. She taunts Padma saying Niyati has been lying all this time, whether it be about the kangan or where she was. She continues saying that Niyati's innocence is just a faade covering her real self. She turns around and says that Niyati is a horrible and jhooti person. Padma shouts Raj's name, takes her by the hand, turns her around and give her a big slap! Everyone is shocked as Padma says that if Raj says anything more about Niyati, Padma will forget that Raj is her friend's daughter. She then tells the whole family that just because she is old, people underestimate her and that nobody would be able to touch Niyati and that she would go save her herself. She would go bring Niyati back and prove her innocence. As she is about to leave, Dadi stops her and emotionally says that she will go with her as will the rest of the family. Raj is shocked and says that she will help Padma despite all that just happened and Dadi stops her saying that she would and that Raj shouldn't interfere.
Dadi turns and asks Vikram if he is coming with his mother and after receiving no reply, Vasu and Padma leave. Vikram slowly follows them and the rest of the family follows, leaving Raj behind, feeling her cheek.
The family cars pull up in front of the police station and the media hounds Vikram as they get out of the car. Jaswant clears the way as Vikram continues to walk forward, ignoring the questions thrown at him. He leads the whole family inside the station where Padma asks the inspector anxiously where Niyati was. The inspector says to sit down but Vikram interrupts saying they haven't come to sit and inquires about where their Kulvaddhu was. The inspector at the front desk says she was in the interrogation room being asked about the Amit Sahai murder case. Padma says that she wants to see Niyati but the inspector tries to make her understand that until the case becomes clearer, nobody had permission to see Niyati. The inspector says that there is blackmailing involved and because of the department pressures, he wouldn't be able to help them. Padma lashes back again saying that she wants to meet Niyati and Vasu Dadi tries to calm her down saying they would see Niyati before they left.
Suddenly everyone hears the media again saying Niyati's name and runs outside. The media is questioning a pale looking Niyati. Niyati remains quiet as she walks ahead, with two inspectors at her side. Padma pushes through the crowd and reaches Niyati telling her she has come and everything will be ok. Niyati looks off into the crowd, not looking at Padma. She says that the whole family had come to take her home.
The inspector suddenly comes and says she will not go anywhere. The inspector tells Vikram that Niyati had confessed that she had done the crime. The whole family stands shocked as Niyati stands still, looking off in the distance. Vikram's shocked face is shown as Padma looks angrily at Niyati, who is still looking far off. The inspector says that she has admitted to committing the crime and that she would not go anywhere and they lead her into the police station. The whole family watches her as Padma is standing in her same position facing the opposite direction, completely shocked. She suddenly falls down and faints as the family turns around and hurriedly try to help her while the media rushes towards them. Episode ends.
Today's episode was heart wrenching, Niyati, you are too good, taking the blame upon yourself. I'm shocked that she would though, I really didn't think it'd come to this….i'm hoping Shaurya or SOMEBODY comes and proves that she is innocent
