Vasundhara Devi

Elegence and dignity persionified, Vasundhara Devi stands for struggle, perseverance, thruth and an unbeatable spirit for life.A tough exterior, she has a very soft heart that has equal amount of love for every member of her family.Padmadevi and she share a very unique realationship that reveals a more lighthearted side of Vasundhara Devi.An ardent fan of Dev Anand from her younger day,she and Padmadevi still blush about their craze for their favorite actors.They have always harbored the dream of transforming their friendship into a realationship... and so decide to get Shourya and Niyati married.

Niyati Chauhan

Niyati is a sweet,simple, down to earth girl.The backbone of her existence is her grandmother Padmadevi who has been a mother and a father to Niyati for as long as she can remember.What makes Niyati stand out from every girl her age is that she has a remarkable will and can stop at achieving nothing once she sets her heart to it.Butthe heart always has its way and in Niyati's case the heart will lways rule over the head in every decision she will make in her life.Loving Shourya is the first among these decisions.

Vikram Singh Rathod

Vikram Singh Rathod enjoys the power and the money, but he never forgets and never lets anyoneforget the Rathod family's 'Ruthba' and traditions.He is always to the point and this attitude gives him an edge over the rest of the family .His word therefore is the law in the family.And he does love his son (Shaurya) very much... but as it is well known,it is very difficult for a father sometimes to just tell his son that he does really love him.

Antra Rathod

Antra, the eldest bahu of the Rthod family, is a woman wronged by her destiny and that is why she is very bitter.The only daughter of a very rich Rajpoot businessman friend of Vikramjeet's father. The bitterness in her heart makes her appear as a stonehearted woman sometimes. Though,apparently not emotionally attached to anyone in the family, Antra has never failed to live up to the family's expectations as the ideal bahu and mother and has adapted herself to the ways of the Rathores. It is only much later that Antra with Samar on her side reveals her true colors.

Shaurya Singh Rathod

Charming, good looking, suave, Shayrya adores his grandmother, respects his mother, and greatly fears his father more out of reverence than anything else.A typical 25 year old, he wants to enjoy his life to the fullest yet is anything but pompous. He enjoys a great rapport with every member of the family... most so with his grandmother. More a freind, his grandmother is one person he can pour his heart out to... at the same time she is rhe one person he cannot imagine refusing ever.

Samar Singh Rathord

Samar is the Laxman to his elder brother- The elder brother's word is law.It is the elder brother who is a huge sucess. In his heart of hearts, he resents Vikram and his luck. On the face he pretends to be the perfect younger brother, but inside lurks a different man altogether.On the whole Samar Singh comes across as the model brother, a good husband, and a doting father.

Sanyukta Singh

Sanyukta is a sweet simple woman, with no frills attached.She is a woman no one can be displeases with.She has a son son named Rajveer. Her face always carries a smile and love for everyone around her.She is very emotional and dotes on her entire family and is religious to the utmost limit, therefore dresses up accordingly. Her ife circles around two belifs: that everyone should be kept happy at all times and Vikram can never say or do wrong.

Jaswant Singh Rathore

Jaswant the youngest of the three brothers is a man with a heart of gold, happy-go-luck, does not care about the film flan of tradition, the rajputana blood etc.Completely Brit and Bindaas, he is the dudish, fun-loving chachu of the family, all the youngsters dote on. Jaswant loves Hindi music, all celebration and fav past time is Antakshari! He is always losing money in all his business ventures due to a never-ending spate of bad luck - not that Jaswant takes it to his heart!

Damyanti Rathod

A loud Rajpoot, whose punju mothr has had more influence on her behaviour, lifestyle, mannerisms.Damyanti is the youngest bahu of the Rathore family and is very jelous of Antra - just because Antra came from an affluent, refined family.She shoulden't be allowedd to run rough - shod over others- is what Damyanti believes.

Rajlakhsmi

The only daughter of Vasundhara Devi.She left her sousraal with her son Agni and now lives with her brothers and mother.She doesent like Padamadevi and is against Niyati becoming the wife of Shourya.

Other Characters are Padmadevi, Agni, Rajveer, Carol, Bindiya and Janvi.
