Marriage of convenience is more common than we think...not everyone marries for love...

If two people know what they are entering into and have consented to the marriage then things may work out in the end...The famed Jodha-Akbar marriage was a marriage of convenience wasn't it?

Not all people who marry for love are happy in the end...and a majority of marraige of convenience too breed resentment.

The important question is whether Radhika agrees to this marriage whole heartedly? if yes...then it is fine...if no then there is trouble in store for Ashu boy...

Read the intro. and Ch-1. Hasratein... title itself is suggestive 😳 I never watched the TVshow with same name, so no idea of any background as yet but gonna look for it on wikipedia now. 😃

Superb start with first update!! 👏 The political ambiance and chhote-mote politicians are portrayed perfectly. Ashuji hates politics and bureaucracy and not a party animal either... Then this must be a headache thingy for his father Adv. Tripathiji. Lallanji seems to be shrewd and having some personal interest in Dr. Ashutosh.

The handsome hunk Ashutosh has no particular interest in girls ogling at him but he certainly enjoys attention that he receives from them 😃 Both Ashu and Nidhi are grey-shaded in this FF means both will be having their own set of hasratein and flings-stories?? Off to read Ch-2 now.

Went thru the wikipage for Hasratein. The hero-heroine there are married and have children too - from their spouse as well as from this EMA. Wonder what will Ashu and Nidhi do in this FF...

Hope the ADs spare you 😆 Ashu has 'enjoyed' a lot in London but this time all arrangements are done within 4 walls of his own house... Daad deni padegi Ashumiya ki himmat ki!! The "demure" maid Kajri become Ashutosh's Rambha at night... Bhola ko sula deneka intezaam bhi AshuSahib khud hi karte hai!! Being a Dr. himself, arranging for prescription soporifics is no big deal for him. Kya hoga jab Alok Tripathi ko iss baare mein pata chalega 😕

Lallan has typical UP bhaiyaji mentality... Get the girl married asap. But he is concerned about his daughter's wellbeing. That's why he has chosen Ashutosh who not only is very handsome but also has promising career and nice family background and he thinks his daughter will be 'safe' in this house as well.

This is so funny but Lallan's helplessness is very well expressed here: 🤣

Adv. Tripathi would never have thought of such a proposal from Lallan even in his wildest dream but Lallan has already chosen Ashu as his JamaiBabu, so let's see if he and Ashutosh accepts this proposal or more drama lies ahead. I guess Ashu may agree to this alliance coz he already has understood value of Guanxi and thru this marriage, he can have strong political influence on others thru Sasurji. 😃

Radhika is just to turn 18. How old is Ashutosh and how old will Nidhi be? Is Mallika there? Then what age is she of?
