Posting Aarti's review on her behalf. She is doing fine but resting. She had emailed this one to me so I'm copy pasting it here.
Chapter 4 Review:And One word that made me go mad and want to commit murder whenever I heard it out of his mouth in the serial. š” IMMATURE!!š” Oh yeah..I'm so going to take revenge on that immature comment in this FF. š šAnd here is my reply. Firstly thank you loads and loads for typing the review despite you not being well. I wasn't expecting it š¤ā¤ļø
Anji and RAnga's conversation throws light on two things, the closeness between the two friends and what had transpired in Nidhi's house after the break-up, how she left home and more importantly how she was sticking to her bargain by staying alone and licking her wounds in private. If Nidhi is quiet and serious now, it probably didn't happen in a day.
That is very true. Like everything, the transformation was also a process. Ashutosh is now seeing the net result of the process.
One can get a glimpse of Nidhi's pain here and struggle here, and Anji's silent support too. But Ranga is smart and cute too. Very deftly he emotionally wins Anji over and convinces her that Ashu and Nidhi deserve another chance.
I somehow like this pair very much in this story. Initially when i took up this story, I was wondering...with all the Anji-Armaan pairings that i did in most of my FFs (except for KSMK one and two) I wasn't sure if i can bring this particular pair back or not. Glad I've not blundered so far.
Then the party! And Ashuji! One word but with a wealth of emotions attached to it... one can so easily guess how close these two were at one point that even today out of the hospital her mind automatically goes to that! I loved that! Both got their fill of each other and vanished!!
Yes. I think thats the best way to put it. they took their fill and left. š
The conversation and act that followed is truly hilarious! Ranga trying his best to act sick at the same time hoping his job is still there the next day! But it was just in time, isn't it? As Armaan rightly guessed both were ready to leave...
True. Armaan knows Ashutosh inside out.
The car scene, so poignant. Beautiful song too, suits their somber mood so well. And each thinking the same thing but both unable to voice it aloud! Those recollections show how he became her AShuji! Very sweet times, but tragically cut short by doubts and fears. Loved the whole scene a lot. Where Nidhi was trying to veer away from those recollections, though unsuccessfully, he was giving free rein to them. He was welcoming those very same memories!
Thank you for noticing that subtle difference in both their thoughts. š¤
And then his BIG, no HUGE shock! Nidhi has left home... And just like a typical male his first thought was that she was married now, though he knew she was unhappy! That one plea showed that he wanted to know yet feared the truth. And later that unbidden joy when he realized she had chosen her unsuccessful love rather than marry another. If he needed any confirmation about where her loyalties remained he got it! Nidhi was still with her Ashuji... only he had to become that Ashuji once more!
Very true. šš¼
That was easier said than done, especially after her parting shot! Again, one word but reflects a wealth of pain for Nidhi and which will now haunt him forever! One word that probably caused the downfall of their love! One word from which all his doubts arose as it depicted their age difference, and what he thought would be her frivolous nature! One word - Immature! Very interesting conclusion!
Thanks a bunch for the analysis Aarti. My chapter explained in your thoughts is always a delight to read for me. For my readers as well...I'm sure. ā¤ļø
