Here's to add on to the small poem I wrote , and inspired by Pansys beautiful writing
As the days go bye , and the shadows lengthen ,
The resolve in me somehow strengthens,
Yes , I do miss you ,
In every deed and thought ,
Your presence is always there ,
Your smile , the quiet serenity of you ,
Am I trapped forever in the shadows,
The sun , the moon , the stars , yes they shine ,
But for me the shadows are where I dwell ,
Waiting eternally for the sound of your swell,
It seems but yesterday that all was well ,
But , now each day is darkness ,
Morning and dusk , mingle with the night ,
Did I wish for that smile ,
To light up the world awhile,
That's not the way of life ,
Shadows of thoughts are all that survive ,
After Pansys fabulous writing this is but a small effort , hope u like it
