Wow! Very interesting update. Totally unexpired. What a psycho woman this Priya is. Even if u named her priya I could see Mallus face. Adat se majbur. The terrace scene is so sweet. The marriag with foundation of friendship is always beautiful than love. Thank u so much for this surprising update.

loved it...awesome...priya mistreated Ashu so badly...she used him..but now it looks as if Nidhi will heal all those wounds..it is good that they have met...I don't want this Priya to reappear all healed and trying to reclaim Ashu..it will be so bad..I am done with her..Let there be flashbacks but she has no place in Ashu's present..it is reserved for Nidhi

Phew..now that the venting is done..I can get on with the review!!

Very very well written hard hitting chapter Aarti. Everyone thought of different scenarios as to why his marriage with Priya broke up..esp since it was a love marriage. And you have managed to spring us a total different scenario.

A woman who was completely mean, self centered with zero control over her anger. Wow!! No wonder he told Nidhi that "love for both of them was divergent." I don't even think what Priya felt was love. She equated sex with love. Hence the seduction routine at her will and fancy. She had deep psychological issues which made her totally incapable of thinking about anyone other than herself. She was just programmed that way I think because she doesn't find anything unusual or wrong in what she is doing. And in turn finds Ashu's behavior out of place. Marriage counselling, psychiatrist consultations...God!! He went through hell just in his attempt to save his marriage. Poor guy!! No wonder he ran in the other direction when Nidhi repeated the same thing that Priya told him long ago. His scars are deep routed. And my guess is some of the wounds haven't healed long enough to become scars. They are still raw. Time, patience and unconditional love are the only things that would heal him now.

Initially when you formed Nidhi's character...i wondered why you made her the way you did. Remember, in the my previous review I had mentioned her being very tenderhearted. But now I realize that for Ashu to completely heal and trust his feelings and hers..only a person like Nidhi is capable of doing it. She will have patience to give him the time and space that he needs. And once he does that, I hope he will realize Nidhi is indeed a treasure.

Nidhi: "I'm sorry!" Two tears escaped from her eyes and flowed down on each cheek. "I wish I had been there with you. ... I know what he meant to you."

Her simple gesture surprised and pleased him. Her concern and sorrow were genuine and he found himself responding. Placing his hand on hers,

Very good first step. Sam is helping Nidhi even in his absence. Lovely scene this one. More than Nidhi...Ashu's reaction to her understanding touched me. After his turbulent relationship with Priya, I'm sure he found a lot of peace when he was with Nidhi. A kind of..I don't know..the tight band around his chest would've loosened a little..is the best way I can put it.

I don't know what an all-consuming love would be like or if I am capable of that but what I do know is that if you agree to marry me I will be your husband, best friend and companion all rolled into one. I know I will be there for you whenever you need me.

I think it is not that he thinks he is incapable of those feelings because he knows clearly he is capable of all that and more. Nidhi's absence in his life all these weeks has proved the depth of his feelings to himself and also to us readers. But clearly, he doesn't trust those feelings. Doesn't trust his judgement any more. After all, he loved Priya and look how she turned out to be. What is the guarantee that his judgement and choice isn't skewed this time around too. And this is the best way he can safeguard his heart.

"I may be wrong in thinking it was love but my gut tells me I was not! I think he just does not want to confess and I don't blame him for that."

I'm really glad Nidhi understands him so well. Lovely girl. Very brave in her own way. She has come out of her fears and insecurities and now is ready to stand by the love of her life.

Loved his reaction to her yes. Who needs words!! His eyes were all but screaming

Her gaze slid away from him and a small frown replaced the smile that was there a minute ago.

OK..this last sentence..me thinks this conversation is not done yet. She still has questions..doesn't she??

You better try really hard and post the next chapter next Sunday (Sat night -US time). Want that conversation concluded and the romance to begin. And let me be clear. AshNi romance. Not..you know who..
