Sharad Kelkar is flying high these days with his latest film 'Ram-Leela' success at the box office. Well there is one more reason for his joy, the actor is very excited for his new role in real life, that of fatherhood. Thus, it's a double whammy for him as its pouring offers of films and TV as well as he's waiting for parenthood.
Married to actor Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar the couple is eagerly awaiting the arrival, "Well there is just three more months to go and I'm eagerly waiting for our baby to arrive. Even though I was busy with my work schedule I have managed to give time to my wife Keerti. This is a new era starting in our life and we are very excited," states Sharad over a telephonic conversation.
Talking about his movie success, Sharad adds, "Ram-Leela is the biggest film I've dreamed about, especially working with Sanjay Leela Bansali was an amazing experience. There are very few lucky people who get to work with the best director like him and I'm one of them. My family too is very happy with the film's success at the box office."
On asked about his further plans, the actor chirps, "There is a Marathi movie releasing in January with Ritesh Deshmukh directed by Nishikant. There are talks on for more Hindi films and television projects as well. Let's see what happens next."
Last seen acting in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and as a host for Shaitaan - A Criminal Mind, we ask him whether he is comfortable doing TV with films? "Today the whole world is doing that. Big film actors are coming to small screen, then why should I hesitate. Of course I won't be able to give full 30 days but don't mind giving TV projects 25 days. The rest five days I've always reserved for my family," explains the actor.
