TellyBuzz spoke to Sharad to know more about the celebration when he welcomes Bappa at his place.
Its time to seek blessing from our most beloved Bappa as Ganapti festival is going on and this is the time when most of the actors also keep Ganapti at their place. Some of the actors keep it for 11 days, some keep it for one and a half day. Well adding in the list is the actor Sharad Kelkar who was last seen as Dr Ashutosh in Sony TV's Kuch Toh Log Kahenge has kept the Ganpati for five days.
He believes that its his father's legacy that he is following.TellyBuzz spoke to Sharad to know more about the celebration when he welcomes Bappa at his place.
When asked Sharad about his father's legacy which he is following he said, "I have been keeping Lord Ganesha for almost 30 years now and every year has been quite unique and different for me. We have been following the ritual of keeping the idol of Lord Ganesh for years now. From my father I inherited the same and my wife keerti Gaekwad Kelkar also takes care of it."
Talking about the delicacies which he prepares for Bappa, Sharad said, "My mother prepares all kind of delicacies for the Lord."
On being asked Sharad if he follows any theme or no, he said, "No I don't have any theme but Yes I have an Eco friendly Ganapati at my place."
So what are the upcoming projects which Sharad is working on, he said, "I am super excited for my movie Ram Leela which will release soon. As of now I cant talk anything about the same."
