Loved the character of ashu from page one (what else can you expect from an AD!!!) Did not not take to nidhi initially as I thought she was weak and a total slave in her love And then was surprised at how strong she was To take the steps that she took inspite of her conservative upbringing and surroundings required a lot of courage and absolute conviction in her love To be honest everything in this story worked for me It had the right amount of drama, passion, despair and levity What astounds me is that two writers with different mindsets, skills have penned this story so effortlessly without a break in the rhythm As I said before take a bow

With re to Rohan, I don't believe his change of heart was sudden...

In the first place. Rohan had no quarrel with Ashutosh...when Nidhi had herself chosen to get into a relationship with another man and explained herself clearly to him, I don't see why he should hold a grudge against Ashutosh...with regard to Nidhi's betrayal, he has already dealt with that and got it out of his system...

that was where i was stuck..i somehow felt getting it out of the system would take even longer..after all, they were in love for 8 years...and true that he had no quarrel with Ashutosh but still..if Ashutosh hadn't come into Nidhi's life, she would have been Rohan's wife, right? In short, Rohan was way too perfect for this FF was what i mean to say...😆

Thereafter, all the emotion that remained was concern for Nidhi...which is why he was even antagonistic with Ashutosh in the first place...

Subsequently, when Ashutosh went to Nidhi's home to talk to her father, he proved himself to be a man of honour...Rohan grudgingly accepted that when he says that he has finally done the decent thing..

And then, when he learnt of the whole Uttarakhand kaand and the subsequent reunion, it was but natural for him to perceive Ashutosh in a warm light thereafter...after all Ashutosh had made his friend ecstatically happy...yet, in his words, there was a subtle reminder..when he told him that Nidhi is to be treasured...and when Ashutosh responded that he would do so for life, I think the two men understood each other thereafter...and they hugged in a display of warmth..

Most importantly, Rohan knew that a warm relationship between Ashutosh and him was important to Nidhi...and he saw no reason to maintain any grudges, even if there was sufficient cause !

Rohan is a warm, forgiving and a very generous man...that of course is the bottom line!

My regret was my inability to spend greater time on the Rohan - Anjie relationship...

Their coming together got washed away by the deluge at Uttarakhand!

As far as "" lack of morality"" quote unquote of the lead characters , as said before to each one his own I was brought up in a very strict background with what is right and wrong drummed into me Believe me it was difficult to stick onto this in the field of medicine The sheer pressure of work and study makes strange bedfellows Over the years l have become quite liberal in my thinking and attitude Or at least I like to think so!!! I now have a daughter who has just entered the field of medicine If present ed with a similar scenario would I be able to handle it maturely_____well I do not know

Vidya was also unable to guess so i will take it that the flow was not looking like a patch work...

i started with Nidhi tells CV that she wants to pack some stuff and take it to Ashutosh's house. From there till the point where DB finds them asleep on the swing is mine. rest is Sujatha's.

Rohan should be bitter towards Ashutosh for existing If you say Rohan will feel that Nidhi would have been his but for Ashutosh...somehow, I perceive it differently,..if your relationship is fragile enough for someone else to disrupt it, be it eight years old or eighty, then the problem somewhere is with the relationship and not the someone else...I think Rohan was just being reasonable..

If you are talking of recovery time, I think that varies from one person to another...some people are more generous and forgiving than the others ..that does not make them perfect,,.they may have other flaws...I don't think Rohan was perfect...it is just that I did not choose to focus on his inherent flaws...since this story was not about that..why focus extensively on something that is not of interest to your readership 😊

I have never been the one to bother with society's perception of morality, Dr Jyoti...in my opinion, being judgmental is more immoral than anything else...in my work, I recently came across a teen who proudly proclaimed that his mother was a sex worker and that he wanted to make her very happy and proud of who he was...it takes courage to believe in who you are and what you do...and not be impacted by society's notions on morality...!

you misunderstand Sujatha..the reason i said all this was..he kind of seemed too good to be true kind of a person...someone one would always love to have in his / her life but thinks such people don't exist.

in this FF where for me, it was so easy to connect with Ashutosh and then later on Nidhi and Anji and CV, this guy looked perfection personified...and i am as far from perfection as one could get..😉😆
