it happens many times at in-law's place. FIL has a problem if a lady (esp DIL) says anything... even it is supporting him also.. but the problem is DIL usually is a multi-tasker... and can tackle both at home and outside without much fuss...

It is often frustrating, irritating and even feel like sorry for them... but since he is an elder, everyone prefer not to talk against him🤔

Thats most often the case Mudraji,we know that the other person is wrong but jsu because of seniority we have to put up with their unreasonable logics and beliefs
