Well i am skipping chapter 5 review...

Finally conversation between Ashu and Anji... Ashu is shown something that we all were saying.. Why can't he see that even Nidhi was affected??

It is only human not being able to empathize each and every time. Ashu was so wrapped up in his hurt and betrayal that he failed to see how it affected the people around him..

He is slowly realizing what it did to Nidhi.. soon hopefully he will understand what happened to Armaan.

Do you know how it feels that I have..(he looks away) she was 15. 15 dammit! What if I had..

You have finally answered why Ashu was so angry.. If Ashu had had sex with Nidhi that day, how would he have faced her again, her family, his family. She looked up to him, he took care of her , treated her like a friend, He feels morally responsible and probably doesn't trust how he would have felt and if he had been able to handle it.

"zidd meri thi toh consequences bhi mein hi face karoongi."

when you wrote this line, I applauded these words. It showed us Nidhi's character. Am glad Anji managed to bring forth that perspective in front of Ashutosh. He needed to know that it wasn't that Nidhi betrayed him.

Even Yog... what a character. I understand her aloofness to her parents. They set such high standards of morality, loyalty to friends that Nidhi feels she let them down big time..

Even during the episode, Yog could have easily brushed it under the carpet but they chose to protect Ashu and save him.

Anji's convo also helps us to understand why is it that Nidhi changed so much. She doesn't believe she deserves to exercise her right on anything be it her friends, her family and now even Ashu.

It is more like uski jholi mein jo aaya she accepts. That's why she didn't comment when her marriange was proposed.

Nidhi didn't say sorry to Ashu I think that was his biggest grouch thinking she hurt him and forgot about it.

He didn't realize that She even gave an agnipariksha to protect him.. Sadly she came out all scratched and burnt.A small town girl, impressionable age... The incidents thereafter must have robbed her of her very essence, of her soul!! and yet she makes a mark for herself. She manages to keep her head afloat.

Even now its like everyone is waiting for her to make a mistake..

So well explains why Nidhi is such an introvert now... Why she has built that wall around her.

I liked Ashu and Yog conversation. Ashu even held them responsible.. Like many here he also must have thought that the parents were also to be blamed... and yet when he saw how they struggled with their decision to stand by him, to save him... Ashu sees Yog also in new light.

Ashu leans back in the chair and closes his eyes: is that why you wanted a grand wedding? To negate the gossip?

Anger can make one so cruel and yet once Ashu lets go of his anger he is able to see the entire situation is such a different and new light. He is able to empathize with hin In-Laws better.

The new routine didn't slip by me..

A guys whose routine started and ended with sleeping with his wife has changed ...

He looked at Nidhi like an arm candy, a trophy wife.. and yet to acknowledge and make amends not easy.

It felt good. it felt so so good. how many times did I dream about something like this happening! That I would go out with Tiger and proudly introduce him as my husband!

Yeh dil bhi na.. hai bechara... Inspite of all the hurt she is unable to forget the longing that she had so she could walk around with her hand wrapped around his arm and walk hand in hand proudly.

I love to see that the physical proximity died down for a while so that they could now bond on the emotional level. The physical distance was essential.

Ashu so needs to show Nidhi that she means more to him than just a body. great idea...

Lunch and Movie .. Awesome!!

Also the progression of the conversation between Ashu and Nidhi.. He slowly starts taking about her present, her patients, her job , about KGH and moving back to slowly her studies her PG and her MBBS...

To slowly to get her to open up!! NICE ... VERY NICE!!

And Finally acknowledging her parents in front of her..

Over all a very sweet chapter.. Ashu has once again garnered all sympathies and the admirers.

Can't wait to see how they solidify their relationship.. and now the process of falling in love starts!! .. Romantic dates...
