Rajani, I think what Ashu meant to say here was that after he spoke to the police they asked him to go as originally planned which was a few days earlier than the start of the conference. I think he meant that the police did not want him to make obvious changes to his plans. This way they can easily misguide the hitman, exactly like how it happened. I don;t think there is any mistake in the sequences here but the dialog is just not clear enough.
