KARAN WAHI
Termed as one of the 'cutest face' on television, Karan Wahi's only brush with acting during school was the one off play that he did as a part of his co-curricular activity. His life only revolved around cricket and he was professionally playing the game for Delhi in the under-16 category. As luck would have it, Karan's father asked him to go for one of those model hunt shows for which he got some portfolio shoots done. Shrishti Arya, the producer of Remix (a popular soap for teenagers on Star one) was in Delhi for auditions and happened to see those pics and Karan was asked to come for an audition. As Karan says, he had no clue about TV at that time and just went for the heck of it. After a successful audition, Karan soon found himself shifting to Mumbai and tasting stardom with Remix at the young age of 18. After about some eight years in the industry, Karan Wahi has not just matured both as a person and as an actor, but has managed to have a good female fan following too. His character Rohan in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge was also loved by everyone, after which he showcased his dancing skills on Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa and is now anchoring Nach Baliye, the dance show on Star Plus.
What do you think makes you hot?
Lot of people have complimented me on my smile and also for my cute boyish looks. Some say I have a great body while others swear by my innocent looks. I can just add that I'm a good dancer too.
What do your fans say - good and bad?
There are times when fans have commented that I did not give my best in a particular episode or even suggest the kind of roles I should pick up.
The kind of role you would love to see yourself in?
I want to try my hands at everything and not be typecast into one type of role. Different things excite me at different times.
The three things you do for to look hot?
I'm very particular about keeping myself fit. Fitness is not just about going to the gym, it means staying healthy, staying active in whichever way you want. I play a lot of sports, I eat everything and also eat out but I order intelligently, something like tandoori chicken which is better than butter chicken. But, there are days when I happily binge without any guilt also. Another important thing is to rest your body - without proper rest you can't be fit. Being groomed is always a plus point. I wear the right clothes and even go for regular massages to relax my body.

I have had a special bond with all my co-stars. I can relate with Kritika as have known her for long, similarly have worked opposite Drashti also. Both of them are good.
One way in which you think you can improve?
I look at every serial as a new learning experience. It feels as if I have just started.
The best and the worst critical comment you've got
When I did Kuch Toh… several older women came and told me that I'm doing a great job.
Do you have any fear or regret about the fact that you are completely recognized by the character you are playing?
