Finally after two plus weeks of in your face Khushi, we are actually getting some explanations for this track and in true KTLK's hallmark subtle style. And this came in the form of a convo between Ashu and Khushi. Again it was highly ironic that these two had this convo considering that one wants to be a father and the other is apparently looking for her father! So, please bear with me as I try to decipher all sorts of meanings hidden within this convo. Each word seems to have been well thought out and it was only enhanced by some superb acting by SK. So, here we go...

Ashu and Khushi start to sketch...
Khushi: aapne kabhi ghar banaya hai?
simple, straight forward, she is talking about the drawing asking him if he has ever drawn a house...

Ashu:banane ki koshish kar raha hoon
he is not talking about the drawing, but that one question brings back all those years of loneliness after which he has now laid the foundation of a family with nidhi, and now the crux of this track, he yearns to complete it with a child

Khushi: jab aap ghar banaoge toh andar ki log bhi banana jaise app, dr baba, hiraman, nidhi aur main
here Khushi is still talking about the sketch and also hinting that she wants to stay at mm and wants Ashu to include her as a family member
for the viewer, 'main' as in Khushi herself could also mean the happiness that a child brings with it

Ashu: yeh toh badi mushkil hai Khushi
now Ashu trying to tell her that she cannot live here permanently as he is about to talk to her about going to the orphanage

Khushi: ap toh bade ho toh fir aapke liye mushkil kyon hai
again simple dialog, but highlighting a child's simplistic view that the adults around them will always fix everything and make it all right in their world, so Ashu can definitely continue to keep Khushi with them in mm
Khushi: jab aap andar ki drawing bana sakte ho toh bahar ki bhi bana sakte hain
this part was straight forward as far as she was oncerned

Ashu: andar ki drawing banana aasan hain bahar ki nahin, poori zindagi nikal jaati hai parivaaar banane me
to Khushi this is straight forward but for the viewers he means it was easy becoming a doctor but it has taken him so long just to lay the foundation for a family and he still needs to wait to become a father, once again his yearning for a child comes through

Now for the all important dialog...

Khushi: toh mujhe kaunsi jaldi hai, agar hum roz roz banayenge toh family ban hi jaayegi
first Khushi once again tries to hint that she wants to stay with them and can wait to become a family, but she is also talking about the drawing and that if he draws a little each day he can complete the family
the big meaning here... Ashu do not be in a hurry to complete your family, take it one day at a time and eventually she (Khushi aka child) will also come into the picture, you will enjoy the joys of parenhood, the child is not running away and is in no hurry to come and can wait...

so, viewers stop asking us about a baby track, not happening for sometime and we will be taking it slow with Ashni

Ashu gets teary-eyed realizing the inner meaning to Khushi's words.

Khushi: are, jab banani hain toh isme rone ki kya baat hai. yeh exam nahi khel hai
for Khushi it is straight forward, she is talking about the picture and Ashu's failed attempt at the drawing, maybe? but once again for Ashu it simply means life is not an exam, there is no coming first or last, life is a game, so enjoy it without thinking too much about what will happen in the future. you will eventually get everything and get there, so just chill...

now, after this Ashu will never sulk about a child, I hope and we will see less and less of that yearning and more acceptance for the happiness he has right now, aka Nidhi... hopefully this is KP's meaning here...

So, friends what do you think... 😕was this convo a symbolic one or am i just imagining way too much here?? 😳 Please add what you made of this part of the convo and let me know where I have misunderstood... 😃

Brilliant analysis aardhan👍🏼 no you were not imagining, the convo was symbolic & meaningful...thru the convo the writer gave us the hint that the baby track is not coming soon ...Ashu also admitted to Nidhi that she was right, they are not enough ready to bring up a child...
The purpose of bringing Khushi was clear in yesterday's epi...she is here not to kindle Nidhi's maternal instinct rather showing them that they are unprepared for a child right now... no wonder why Khushi has been presented this way..

Very nice analysis.KPji is master of subtlety. If we get an entire episode dedicated to Ashni with some mind-blowing dialogues which shows their love, understanding it would be wonderful!

Love ur interpretation of the dialogues from yesterday's scene. At 11 o'clock at night sometimes they are not to obvious therefore u need to see repeats of these episodes to totally understand wat KPJI is writing.
He is a super talented writer. But it's like the Indian art movies meant only for selected viewers. Loved this episode and specially SK acting.

Yes, yesterday's episode has certainly highlighted the reason for bringing in Khushi, as to how Ashu is yearning for a child, so as to make a complete family, apart from re-living his lost childhood...excellent dialogues with double meanings, as u have put them up very rightly...Ashu's feelings coming out with them...SK's acting was great...hope Nidhi was around to hear the convo betn them...

This is possibly the first time in the history of Indian TV that a writer has introduced a track to prove to his characters and the audience that they are not ready for children...and will never be till the show ends...dhanya ho KPji ki!

@aardhan

I gave up watching the show from yesterday...so did not even watch this scene...

But yes, KPji's dailogues are always layered...the more you strip, the more meanings you can decipher...

Good thing that the world at large does not subscribe to Khushi or rather KPji's view on the yearning for kids...the process of procreation might well come to a halt...or maybe that is where the world is headed...writers are farsighted creatures!
