I dont like the attitude of Solanki in the sense that he does not think that his son in law is worthy his daughter...They are just married - he needs to at least give some time to see if Ranga is able to keep Anji happy and comfortable or not...

No man would like being a ghar-jamai... Yeh ek aadmi ke liye uski izzat ka sawaal hai...

But coming to the fact that Anjie puts her parents first in the priority is very heartening and that is sth that is very lovable... And betiyaan are always Dad's pet so that bonding is sth very spl

Zoya, isme izzat kahaan se aagayi...yeh halaat pe dependent hai ki sahi kya hai aur galat...

Shayad Kapil interfere karenge...shayad problems aayenge...kya saas-bahu mei jagde nahi hoti,...issues nahi hoti...aise hi shayad yeh donon bhi ek doosre ke saath adjust karna sekhenge...even if it comes to living under one roof, maybe they will learn to respect each other's space...because, at the end of the day, both love Anjie ver much...I am not saying that living with the in-laws is a good thing for men or women...I am only saying that there should be no blanket rule...and circumstances should decide what is right and wrong!

a son is allowed to live with his parents and fulfil his duties by them...but if a daughter does the same, it becomes a problem...sad to hear that!

@bold so true...there lies the distinction. i dnt think there is anything wrong in staying with ur parents after marriage especially wen they need u...if a girl can shift in with her in laws(which usually is the norm) take care of them...can't she expect her husband to come and take care of her parents at their place...
just because you are married and a girl doen't mean u dont hav any responsibility towards your parents...

Which parent ever thinks their child's spouse is good enough,...mothers-in-law always think their daughters-in-law are not good enough for their sons too...with time, they learn to appreciate each other's qualities and there comes a time when they may end up appreciating the son or daughter-in-law more than their own child...

Maybe after a few issues, they will learn to love each other for the sake of Anji...it is this adjustment process that will be beautiful to watch...if they handle it senstively and maturely that is!

Alka, society's rules are not written in stone...Ranga's parents live in the village...that is not Ani's fault...she had adjusted beautifully with them when they stayed with her...being women, I think we should be more conscious of our roles and responsibilites both towards our partners and our parents...and not let society dictate to us on what is right or wrong...

Good to hear that, Aru...your parents can never cease to be your priority simply because you are married...that mindset needs to go first!

@ bold-thats exactly my point😛
marriage is building a new relationship but it can never be at the cost of ur relationship with ur parents...

Alka...under the circumstances, and being a doctor, I can guarantee you that Ranga will aceept to live with the Solankis...because of Kapil's illness...ANji herself may request him to accept this at least for a temporary period...
