Reel life and real life confusions are common in the TV industry and one such incident occurred with television actor Vishal Malhotra. Vishal who is currently essaying the role of Dr Ranganathan in the show Kuch Toh Log Kahenge was mistaken for a doctor.
Narrating his incident, Vishal said, "I was in Hong Kong recently when a man came up to me and told me that his wife was unwell and thus wanted me to prescribe medication for her. Initially, I thought he was joking and I started laughing. But when I realised he was serious, I tried explaining to him that as an actor I am only enacting the role of a doctor on screen and I am not a doctor in real life.
However, much to my surprise he became angry when I asked him to see a pharmacist or a doctor. He just wasn't ready to believe that I am not a doctor in real life."
