1.When shyama Aunty came to know about ashni relationship n then Nidhi went to meet ashu .. N ashu said " Tum jab kaho main tumhare saath chalunga aaj kaho to aaj kal kaho to kal tumhe fikr karne ki zarurat nahi Nidhi " I loved that scene ..

2. Jab ashu ne Nidhi ko hospital se nikala baad main dusre hospital main uska naam recommend kiya.. Aur Nidhi ko pata nahi chalna chahiye Aisa kaha..

I was really surprised, when he played the violin for Nidhi, on the hill top last week. After giving a private concert to mallu, in her room, in the middle of the night, while his wife was next door, in their bedroom, Ashu still had the guts to play on the hilltop at night for his wife. I mean the guy was not scared that his wife would remember, and bash him over the head with that very same violin, it takes courage Yar, and that too on a loney hill top with no witnesses. Wow. Yeh nidarta, hi toh hero ki asli pehchana hoti hai.

My all time personal favorite.

In my opinion against his character, Dr.Ashu changed himself & danced for Nidhi. He also said sorry to DB very humbly and won her heart, as promised earlier by him. He hs won everyone with his behaviour. He went to Anji's home before her wedding day as he ws feeling lonely and also admitted this openly to Anji & Nidhi. All this, including all the other incidences mentioned by others make him hero.

Yes agree with you Tanu ji , supporting Mandira was the most heroic deed . When her close relatives were offending her .
I loved Ashu in that scene.

Yes, the Kerala confrontation with CB was top and standing up for Mandira. I think more when Ashutosh keeps changing his thinking about life & love due to how Nidhi sees the world. He never saw the world as beautiful until she dragged him into the barrish in oct, Nidhi's childish & happy when looking for the keys, when Nidhi said fire me in her innocent way, etc. This change is the heroic act of changing one self from Dr. Hardstone to Dr. Ashutosh who is in love and willing to change & fight for the one you love. He stopped playing violin, dancing, etc due to his insecurities but changed for Nidhi. She brought back happiness, his baba, his house, his kushi that he had lost when baba left, but there are still things in him from his childhood that he still can't face.

Ashu is a simple man with complex emotions... He is a man who lives for right, if he believes it is no matter what people have to say. He is a fighter, a true hero….fought with the handicaps and harshness of his life and eventually made himself into a successful person.

To me, it is not easy to pull out one particular moment or trait…… the way he battles with his emotions and evolves over the time is what makes him more endearing. He tried to throw Nidhi out of KGH/his life, though he knows her love will bring colours to him but he tried to make her move on as it will be difficult for her family and society to accept the age gap relationship and will put nidhi in a crappy place

His love is selfless, after kerala issue even in baby track he allowed his love to win over his desires. He is a true friend, he risked his marriage by keeping mallika in house….he did it as it is the least he can to do as a friend.
