New entries!

Okay, with the exit of Mallika, Rohan and Armaan, I think the show is facing a dearth of supplementary characters...so, I was wondering if we could make a list of new entries that we would like to see on the show...

I would like to see the following...

1. The entry of another doctor at KGH to replace Mallika ...I think this would be very logical...what if it were a male...and what if he happened to take a lot of interest in Nidhi's career and encourage her in ways that she feels that Ashutosh is not currently...a hurt Nidhi is bound to respond to this...I am not talking of any romantic involvement at all...but you know how Dr AShutosh is...this is bound to raise his hackles...

2. Kids are fun...what if we have a replacement for Shahenshah...what if AshNi bring him/her home at least temporarily or something...make him a teen even...who is completely infautated by Nidhi...this might be a fun track...

3. What about a new batch of interns...they could all collectively swoon over Dr Ashutosh all over again...

Just a few random ideas...feel free to chip in...

i liked the 1st option... i think the show can experiment with some fresh faces and create some interesting tracks...

@Tanu...I get your point, Tanu...we don't want to play triangles and quadrilaterals again...we just got rid of a third angle...but, from the point of view of a career track, this might spice up things...but yes, if it means musical chairs, then it is a big NO from my end too!

The other two are also great... wuld love to see! Waise.. Armaan aka Nitesh ji isnt much shown in his new show also... so i guess if required he can be reintroed..

@Malvika...Malvika, do you think it possible for the new doctor to not know that Nidhi is the wife of the dean...of course, it is a daily soap and anything is possible...but still..

I was thinking more on the lines of a professional association turning into a good friendshipp...Nidhi's ego is smarting and she would respond to praise...it could be totally platonic...but no husband likes a another man showing too much of interest in his wife, does he...particularly one that is eighteen years younger...and particularly if said man is closer in age to her...!

I want a replacement for Mallu. But want only & only Ashu to encourage her. The new doc may be of Ranga,s age and a very fun loving guy and became very friendly with Nidhi , no other intention but Ashu feels jealous (only to show possessive side of Ashu). Not much complications.
New batch of interns some try to be over friendly as boss's wife and some maintain distance ,reason same. Not a very comfortable situation for Nidhi.Also new batch gossips on Ashni.(log effect).

Essentially KGH needs new characters if they are going to show much of the hospital track. Your 1 point is OK. But no triangle and I don't trust CVs. They inevitably bring love angle even in friendships. the word platonic does not exist in Ktlk. So I am wary of that idea. Armaan and Rohan can be brought back with parallel tracks. Even Mallika if brought back reformed (as per KP), no longer obsessed with Ashu is a welcome change. IN fact it would be nice to see her as the couple 's true well wisher. The biggest handicap of the show is dearth of characters.Even those present are under utilized like .BB, CB, Shyama...Hence repetitions and character inconsistencies could not be avoided. There is also no continuity. They jump from track to track . I think the house issue is buried forever. It is odd Asutosh and Nidhi don't even discuss about returning the money or buying a new house for Mallika. It is conveniently forgotten. A mega serial do need lot of characters and parallel tracks with main focus on the leads for sustenance. Dk days are over.So the serial can be experimented with new characters and dimensions. Even the characters present do not interact properly. If I am right CB and Ashu have not spoken once after the marriage Strange. In my opinion KP might be a great script writer but not suitable for a mega serial. Is it dearth of ideas or is there a budget angle? There were handful of people in Ranji wedding. No junior artistes. Don't know about the duration of the show. If it is going to be for another 100 episodes they definitely need new parallel tracks.Or else they can compare the 2 marriages Ranji and AShni.
