Ashutosh the husband!

Everybody, including me. is talking of Ashutosh's need to repent and what he should do etc...but before then, we need to understand how many of us think Ashutosh actually failed...since the forum is populated largely by women, this would offer an insight into how much of leeway women are willing to allow their husbands/partners...please vote with reason!

there is absolutely no question that he has failed. starting from the moment he went off with Mallika during Nidhi's dance (chalo tum ko lekar)...more than the actual dance, it was about the effort she had put into trying to do something really special for her husband to cheer him up...he never even glanced back at her...just went off to console his friend and talk about barah sall puraani memories...and if i start my list on the issues, it will make another story...so of course he failed in a major way.

And Sujatha, i do understand that this forum is mostly populated by women...but i do hope a few men answer this question..i want to know a man's take on Ashu's situation...do the men think Ashu's behaviour is justified?

Yes he has failed. .coz he has judged Nidhi without any logic... n also not trusted her..!

Instead of believing his wife THE LIFE PARTNER he is believing THE MONSTER MALLU

he has failed as a husband...totally. He forgot the difference between life partner and a friend. All he did was just talked the talk but when he had to walk the walk, he failed miserably. I know its too much to expect in KP Land but I hope he will recollect all his actions and behavior with Nidhi since His Soulmate's entry, what he did to Nidhi and how Nidhi always forgave and forgot his dids and fullfilled her duties as a wife

Suja, with this show you should adopt a policy...view each epi as a separate entitiy...I had decided to forget all and enjoy the rain romance which I did...

Forget Nidhi and her expectations...you don't apologize because somebody expects it from you...Ashutosh knows fully well what he has done...he does need Nidhi to remind him...the redemption is for his own soul rather than Nidhi so far as I am concerned...but KP's brand of maturity might well not permit a concept like redemption!

P.S- in the scene where they leave the house, I did not find Nidhi's interaction with Ashutosh spontaneous...there seemed to be an edge when she spoke about pyar ki basha...but maybe it is my imagination!
