Libra, a separation track does not make much sense...they have been married hardly a month...and have already suffered so much heartbreak...what would be the point of separation...how sadistic can they get? Also, I don't see Nidhi leaving Ashutosh. Even in the coming MU, she tells him it is her good fortune that he loves her. For all his insensitive behaviour, her faith in his love remains steadfast. I wonder if she would leave him just to prove a point.

As a wife, who loves her husband above everything else, she has more than proved her love and devotion, and she has shown more tolerance than any one. But we must remember that even though it takes a while, but eventually her self respect and temper do surface, exs

-The time when mallu was putting her on night duties onafter the other, and her not showing up for icu duty the next morning. Remember ashu really blew up at her, well our nidhi gave as good as she got, even better, she shut him up and then he was forced to look into the matter, and discovered mallu mama at the end of the pitchfork.

-the the hair dye incident where both fought, well then too, nidhi had the last say.

-of course the most recent where she almost left him. It was not prove a point to ashu but because of what he said, twice in the same day.

Similarly, like mallu said she would get ashu to throw nidhi out. Maybe she will succeed(we don't know), but in my opinion I don't think ashu will. On the other hand he just might say something again, just as or maybe even more vile, than what he said before, and we know that our girl has spunk, and one hell of a temper, when push comes to shove. And what else can any self respecting person going to do under such circumstances.

Also, in my opinion, that is the only way Ashu is going to open his eyes. Until he he pushed into something, he really does not pay attention to anything going on around him.

Lastly, separation has nothing to do with how long you have been married. I mean a month does not mean all that much to Ashu either, look at his behavior. You can only drag an unconscious elephant for so long, eventually you have to drop him, and in this case whether or not he can be revived is up to our esteemed mature writer.

I don't think KPji will take it that far...Ashu asking her to leave wont happen...also, I can't imagine that he can say anything more demeaning than all that he has already said...if she still has not left, I doubt she will now...the only thing that might get her to leave is him questioning her character...I hope and believe they won't go that route...

Yes, agree that the man has to be pushed out of his stupor...for me the provocation now has to one from Mallika...that is what is going to give him the much needed jolt...otherwise this will never end...also, what i meant is it might be too early in the show to bring in separation...of course, in real life, people break up in days or. Weeks at times

And KP gave an answer to this.. vide BB that.. 'Ashutosh jaise log.. aise hi hote hain.. woh aapni aachaiyon ke marre hain ... woh dusron ka bhala karne mein itna kho jate hain ke aapno ko takleef pahuchate hain'

While we can keep contesting this stand of KP (personally i abhor it..) but.. this has been DEALT with in the show...!

And sujatha.. i have brought this to the notice earlier... Ashutosh is ASHUTOSH .. no numerical suffix is required in my humble view..!

Tanu, we can keep denying it till the cows come home but the fact is that there has been a distinct shift in the character ...Ashutosh today is not the Ashutosh he was...and since the names of actors who play the character cannot be taken, the only way to point out the shift in the character is to make a reference to the time period...believe me, I have no desire to analyse the reasons behind how and why...that is not even my concern...but the fact remains that the reactions of the past are no longer tthe yardstick to judge the reactions of the future,,,this is all I meant...if there is some other way of putting it, tell me and I will follow that...I hate using suffixes too...

p.S - there was a misquote...I was merely correcting that when I responded to that post...not trying to analyse the whys and the wherefores...I have given up on that...I restrict myself to merely saying what I like or don't like...just like all others...

Why dun u sight instances... instead of the character? I think we all are watching the show from start so can identify.. exactly what u r trying to imply ...! 😳

And regarding the shift... i agree there has been a shift... but the character still remains the same... maybe certain other traits have been highlighted now.. but the key essence should remain the same...! Albeit in KP jis world... nothing ceases to amaze me...

mods, plz let us use 1.0 and 2.0 na.. it was allowed till recently...

it becomes easy ... rather than citin instances...no way we are comparin actors..sachhi !

when we say ashu 1.0 it simply means ashu before gomati .. and ashu 2.0 means post gomati..

infact i made a ashman story abt this ,if u remember... n no one objected .. i used till recently...

its a humble req !
