Okay, so what grades would you award to Ashutosh? We know he has been a great doctor and a wonderful friend.. How has he fared as a husband though?

I am going with a B+...Ashutosh plays the violin to make her happy, he is willing to eat two meals if need be, he organizes a cake to make her feel good on their anniversary, he offers hugs on demand and so on...so, he does all those little things which count...

As such, one can't call him a complete failure...but then, when it comes to the big things, is he performing?

I feel he has failed to sense Nidhi's unease and the extent of her pain and insecurities with regard to Mallika...his own perception of Mallika has clouded his mind to the point where he is not picking up subtle signals from Nidhi...worse still, he is not taking even her verbally expressed concerns seriously enough...it is like she is a child that he is indulging...granted, he is almot two decades older than her but she is an adult too...if he can treat her that way within their bedroom space, why not credit her with more maturity outside it too...?

If Ashutosh is faking, then that would still not make him a sensitive husband because in his quest to discover the truth, he is trampling all over Nidhi's emotions...but, if he is not faking, it still makes him a man who refused to take his wife seriously...ek taraf khai to ek taraf khua...dono taraf haar hai...poor man!

i voted for A+ because he loves nidhi so much .and also knows her feeling .he was bachlor since 42 years so he can take time to be good husband .he started to think like a husband.

A all the way.. barring that .. he is sooo blind to Mallu ..i think he is a fab hubby to Nidhi. .given from where he started...so A from me! 😳

I have given him an A and am sure very soon he will turn into A+.

His love for Nidhi is beyond doubt. He cares for her a lot. The only thing stopping me to give him an A+ is his Mallu support..

Tanu I beg to differ with u on this count...Agreed he loves Nidhi a lot and has done several things for her which have been contrary to his nature and which he has never done before...or which he would never have imagined doing before he met and fell for Nidhi...

But when it came to whom to trust...his love or his wife...He failed to get his priorities right...From the start he has always stood up for his friend...even though she has wronged his love and even admitted to being jealous and doing wrong things out of that jealousy...He is a brilliant neurosurgeon, but not at all an understanding husband...I think instead of saying he has put Nidhi high on a pedestal he should have said he has put Mallu and his friendship on a pedestal...

Even if he is faking and has doubted Mallu's behaviour...(which I very much doubt)...he cannot be forgiven for the hurt he has caused Nidhi...A bride of only a few weeks deserves more care and understanding than he has given her...So I have voted for other as I can't find a proper grade for him...In some areas he scores an A but in some (and very important) areas he scores even lower than an F...Sorry if I have hurt any feelings...Just gave my POV and feelings...
