Why is the woman always shown as insecure? - Page 2

Hey, Just googled some info on Ekta & Balaji. They started around 1995 and by 2000 had hit an all time big .. And I think real deterioration started after y2k. TRPs also started which added fuel to fire. Nahi to Earlier days of satellite TV were not that bad.

Maybe there should be a cap on the number of epis...no more than 52 or something...the only way to continue would be to do a Season 2...the same characters with a fresh story if at all...otherwise, these stale plot lines and excessive negativity are here to stay!

Negativity apart, these days serials are taking a decade plus leaps...i mean, one friday we see them as newly married and the coming monday it starts with their silver jubilee with their 4 kids all grown up...unko grey hair bhi nahin hoti yaar...bada ajeeb lagta hain...its like two friends calling each other "beti" and "aayi"...

God...don't even remind me of that one...Ekta has scaled new heights of negativity with it...and the best part is even the TRPs are not so great...so what is the point of all this? There was a lovely spoof on this on the Star Plus show Sasural Ghenda Phool...my mom used to watch that show...so have seen it in bits and pieces...

I am not surprised...and it is not funny...it is actually sad..!

I dont know about Hasratein..but after reading your post will try to catch it on youtube if it is available...But, yes those were the good olden days. Two things which completely spoilt the television industry irrevocably are

1. EKTA KAPOOR
2. TRP

Even if it is managed to kick the TRP system out of the industry, after all the concerned television ppl and government come to concensus about the same, I doubt if it will be easy to pull the EKTA-EFFECT completely out of the system. (u know as...as if it had never come)!!!!

KTLK was once the only show I use to watch...I never knew of India forums before KTLK started...but now...I dont watch it. Thanks to the 11 pm slot and the sickening tracks. I think the title should be changed to KABHI GHARWALI...KABHI BAHARWALI.


Amidst all this, I found a new show more promising than KTLK, NA BOLE TUM NA MAINE KUCH KAHA...I wont say much about this show coz I dont want to promote it here and it needs no promotion..the stroryline, concept, track, actors, n acting itself are enough to promote it.



P. S Sorry in advance, if I hurt the sentiments of some loyal fans of Eka or KTLK.
